Out of all of the songs my dad has ever heard that included a guitar, this is the one he would like to learn on guitar. He doesn't play guitar, he used to play base a while ago, but this is the ONE song that is his mission to learn how to play before he kicks the can. I am his son and a guitar beginner and I told him I would make it my mission to play this song just for him but I need a video lesson to learn it. (since I'm a beginner)

I do really love this song and would do anything to play it.

I asked for this lesson from Neil a couple of years ago. If he hasn't done it yet....

I left his site because one of his administrators (Matt) is a hypocritical jerkwad. I've no desire to patronize such people. It's a big world out there--I'm sure you can find lessons on this song elsewhere...and you won't have to look at a cheesy moustache and lame Hawaiian shirt the whole time.

Neil, I think if you were to teach this song in a coplete lesson, It would be challenging for you as well as those of us who wish to learn it. I am trying to learn it thru Songsterr, but it is not easy. I need, as I am sure others would agree, you with the guitar in your hand giving the complete lesson. Please do the lesson. It would be the best song I will have learned EVER!!! I have loved that song for almost 40 years!!!

I've almost learnt the whole thing, the only problem is the little guitar licks in there. Once you get the hybrid picking method down it's easy, but those licks are still challenging!

cool ragtime song would be very challenging, but I would like the challenge. We need some easy stuff as well as some songs that kick our butt. We need to occasionally be pushed out of our comfort zone.
