  • @GgGXxX93 The movement up is called a press. If you've seen "Ninja Assasin" (new movie), the main character does a two-hand press and then does hand-stand push-ups (which are not presses, but hand-stand push-ups ;) )

  • i need tips. im plenty strong enough i think, i can do about 15-20 full extension handstand pushups, i can hold planche and am getting better at planche push ups but i cant do any type of handstand press to save my life

  • Start working one arm holds against a wall, then freestanding by having all of your weight on one hand but keep the other hand's fingers on the ground for improved balance.

  • This is beasting. I have trouble with learning press skills. This guy won't share information so i'll tell you what i do know.

    Basically you need really good leg flexibility... not so much for straddle press but it helps. Try against a wall. A strong core will definitely help.

    And do not bend the arms. IT would be a good idea to master two handed pike press before one handed.

  • Push ups, narrrow grip, normal grip wide grip. Then use a back pack and progressively add more weight. When you are fit and strong enough, try handstand push up half rep, then progress to full rep. Easy but require a lot of discipline.

  • It all depends on where you are to start with - different exercises depending on if you are just starting out vs having some experience.

    Msg me with details of your current handstand ability and I will see what I can do to help.

  • I can control my hanstand very well, but i can't do a press... How can I improve so a can start doing a one arm press?

  • i am 22 old 201 cm 87 kg doing breakdance but beginig feel pain in lower spine i can do handstand much better than any other, but when i run or play basketball or do other sport i can feel my spine

  • how are your shoulders and lower back doing? any ligament problems? if no, then good. I met some people who didn't develop enough strength in joints that they had problems later.

  • Shoulders are fine - the lower back has always been a problem for me. I injured it (not doing handstands / gymnastics) long ago and it flares up from time to time.
