  • This recording may be close to 90 years old but it still sings to me of great times and one of the greatest orchestras of the era, Dajos Bela. I am one of those who thinks Bela was one of geniuses of the age.

  • great old records - its amazing how much music, fun and fidelity is in those grooves! In some ways they sound better than modern records. (harmonic distortion? valve amplifier cutter?)

  • You have an excellent choice in music, makrogroove. Many thanks for uploading these songs.

  • thank you :-) this is really a compliment because already a lot good music is uploadedby other users..

  • Interesting records but I do not like this

    re-mastered sound - at all !

  • Some people told me already that they don`t like this way of cleaning and presenting.. hmm.. I prepared CD`s for friends.. but hope you like the music.. Greetings from Berlin

  • Of course, you may please your friends,

but if you want to please me and some other people, don't do it !

    Greetings from Amsterdam.

  • Electrically recorded in the mid-1920s, I'd say, this novelty number allows solos for most of the band, including the xylophone player. - John Austin, Australia
