  • Ok people?!! dun be dumb u cnt learn hw to play baskeball by watching this tapes. U needa learn it coming out from ur heart people! or by the end of the day its jus copying someone elses move

  • i like black travis better

  • DUDE GO WATCH SOMe AND1 VIDEOS MAYBE U WILL LEARN SOMETHING!

  • actually when you do this dribble, the more you dribble during one 8 loop the better. just saying cuz he said whatever you prefer dribbling more or less, but more during a loop is a better practice

  • He knows what hes doing, he just hasnt mastered it yet. Give him some credit.

  • u suck u dnt suppose 2 look dwn

  • When you're doing this drill, try dribbling the ball low. Also, you need the try dribbling the ball faster. What you help you is to dribble the ball as much times as possible, when you are making an eight.

  • Damn i need to gain more muscle, i cant even throw a free throw without jumping.

  • @crooklyn817 it's more technique than muscles! infact it has nothing to do with muscles

  • thanks but ppl kept telling it does require some muscle, cause i keep trying to shoot from distances and my shots dont even go near the rim (air balls) its bad man i am 18. I love playn B-ball but i see myself not having the athleticism, like i cannot do spin moves or good corss moves my body just isnt agile enough. But i assure you im tryin to reach that point, im doin push ups and alot of other stuff, any tips?

  • @crooklyn817 all you have to do to get the ball going closer to the rim, is 1. imitate ray Allen's shot (text book) use video analysis to help you see where your going wrong!, 2. AIM HIGHER THAN THE RIM. at the 3 point line aim at the top of the board.

spin moves are technique and so are cross overs. i am a master at spin moves i can get past many people with it. i can tell you it doesn't require mucles. watch videos on how to do it.

  • @omario9333 Ah ok thanks, i will have to keep at practice then, and you mean aim for the top of the actual backboard or the box? Also for learning complete ball handling should i just keep practicing dribbling drills? Also whats the best way to master left hand dribbling? I Am a right and cannot do anything with my left lol. Thanks 4 the help omario.

  • @crooklyn817 well the aim with the shot is to have a high arc, so yes aim significantly higher than the rim but in-line... experiment with where you need to aim like if you aimed too high then decrease the aiming height.

with dribbling do 2 ball dribbling, i thought it was impossible but i can do it easily. then that's just to get warmed up, practice the moves not the drills so you want to spin move use an obstacle and spin around it. both hands both sides good luck

  • @crooklyn817 do you have facebook?

  • ye want me 2 add you or sumtin?

  • @omario9333 how can i improve my 3point shot? im 14 yo and i play 2,3.

  • @Couerup

you need practice at first!!!! then you have to be confident and have good balance while you shoot

  • @crooklyn817 i have no muscles,im 14 and i can reach the basket from the free throw...but its 20%..with jump is 60%...

i play 2 and i have to improve my 3point shot but i dont know how

  • Recently since i made that comment here, ive been doing calisthenics work outs meaning body weight. Ive been been Push Ups (Normal, Inside, and outside grip) and pull-ups. Ive been finding that this along with proper technique made my jumpshot and free throw so much better. If you can do your body weight you can def launch a basketball. So my advice, practice your technique, make your wrist flick when shooting, launch with your fingertips, and follow-through and do some calisthenics workouts.

  • expertvillage is damn sh*t....^^

  • Expert village WTF!

  • this was the first dribbling drill i ever learned. it brings back memories.

  • lol

  • he should keep doing these vids.

So that everyone as more resources in order to learn of the sport we all love to play. Besides listening to him is more better then reading this stuff from a book.

  • i kill him tooooo

  • Your Harsh As Fuck You Keep Saying That He Sucks But He Doesnt Have To Be Amazing To Try To Give People Advice And I Bet Your Being Cocky He Would Fucking Rape You In A One On One

  • i agree

  • i agree

  • lol hes like keep yur yeys off the ball while looking at it lol

  • i can dribble better than this noob lol

  • stop doing these vids! ur embarassing urself XD

  • i could ball on this noob. lol

  • there is almost no youtube clip where some asshole makes some jackass comment. some people have hearts made of coal. anyway,

    thanks you for this.

  • u guys should appreciate wat he's doing there instead of criticising all the time. why dun u guys do a video urself and put it up there then since u guys do the big talk all the time!?

  • Lol you see they haven't made a video yet LOL

  • The problem with this video isn't that he's dribbling poorly. It's that he's presenting poor quality instruction. He regularly looks down / seems to lose control of his dribble. Additionally he's not even using a mens sized basketball from the looks of it. If it was just some random guy showing a drill that would be one thing, but this is being presented as an 'expert' which clearly is a misrepresentation of what this guy actually is.

  • so do a better one...

  • I play by myself and I can dunk and shoot

But I have bad passing skills and dribbling

  • and save your trash talking for the court; this is an instructional video, not an exhibition--lol

  • love how all the comments are coming from losers who are

either too young to know any better, or from cocky -probably too cool for the fundamentals-players who will shut up once high school ends along with their dreams...

  • this guy is gay

  • hes talking, explaining and doing it at the same time retards.

  • omg wow ithink u should perfect it beforeteaching it --* and beginners could even do it with their eyes closed

  • He's doing it slow so you can see it fucktard.

  • this is easy! I can do this with my eyes closed and im 12

  • sooo shit i can do that with my eyes closed and ur not supposed to take a little amount of dribbles the ball is to b low as possible and basically dribbiling with ur fingertips quit ball

  • how the fuck are u teaching dribbling drills saying to keep ur head ur and u can't keep it up ur self ur shit no one go to that camp

  • This guy is a master. Don't knock him.

  • a master im guessing you gont go to ball courts that often

  • I appreciated that he put those videos up there. I was helping out at my son's basketball camp and I got a lot of ideas for different drills. There is a difference between being a good coach and being a good player. Sure it might look smoother with an NBA guy, but it might not be effective.

  • @mathman43

You are correct in saying that there's a difference between a good coach and a good player. However this guy is neither. As someone who runs camps for many rep/provincial players I can say that this guys execution, stance and control are not examples worth following. Being so bent over his dribble like that puts him off balance and makes it more difficult to attain clear court vision. His clear lack of control on his dribble indicates that he's not a proficient basketball player.

  • i learned it on my own but does any one know ow to do the trck when the basket ball spins arounds all ur arms its coool

  • I can't even do it without lookihng

  • i can and im only 11

  • I LOVE YOU! not really but thanks for what your doing

  • Hah, youre mean
