It's a tiemcard Enduro! Not a Hare Scramble or Motocross.

The idea is to arrive at a certain point at a certain time, otherwise you rack up penalty points. Sixty points for every minute, early or late. There's a special test sometime throughout the day which is where you get to ride as fast as you can and show off your riding ability, or lack of it. It's one of the most enjoyable forms of off-road motorcycling. Try it.

You guys ride much more controlled than we do in the USA. The enduro races here in the States are a flat out speed even through very tight single track. I guess that is why so many get hurt here. The way you guys race looks much more fun and enjoyable.

@matta69a thats because in the UK we have this brown stuff called mud, its wet, cold and slippery, a bit like Australian's really, you wouldn't be able to ride any better because you'd have 10 layers of clothes on you soft bastard. plus your shit at cricket now too!

@mably23 LOL we got plenty of mud and its the red sitcky clay stuff that will suck a bike down into. Our enduros are in a lot tighter trails that your bars will barely fit through and we ride flat out like its a motorcross race. Look at some of the youtube videos of the SETRA or SORCS enduros here in the southeast USA. Even the start is like a flat out banshee take off.  Dont get me wrong I like the way you guys ride and start off far better than they do in the USA. I am not a very fast ridr

I agree here . You can't tell by looking too much. Different soil makes very different mud that is more slippery sometimes... You just can't haul on some kinds of mud at all. It's short shifting and smooth power in higher gears. ..

Its called a time card enduro. There are obstacles and sections which provide challenges. Normally lasts 3 hours, you score points by arriving on time, so going really fast does not always guarantee you win (due to penalty points for exceeding speed limit).

Its all about finishing each stage on time and gaining points its not a MX track.
