Gypsy culture is like all cultures and has moral standards which some adhere to and others do not and as is the case all over the world impoverished and dispossessed people have a higher portion of those willing to take desperate measures in order to survive which is why we are not particularly associated with petty crime in rich New World countries like the US and Australia.

In India there are gypsys called Banjara... They are one of the most beautiful races we can find here... Infact in Southern India they are most beautiful people. They live in settlements called thanda even in India its not recognised as village but almost every village in some districts of Andhra Pradesh have thanda attached to it.. They dress very beautiful
@valipe81 Maybe because what they wear in Indian havn't changed much over the last 50-100 years. So they fit in better. Hungary changed a lot. Even my grandmother dressed very differently 20 years ago than my mother does now. If they don't change with the people around them they stick out. Maybe not in India.

I agree, there are definite geniuses among them, I personally like their ability to cope with various life situations and of course I admire their vivid, lively anima and temper too. One shouldnt look down on them just becuse they are different. In India there are gypsys called Banjara... They are one of the most beautiful races we can find here... Infact in Southern India they are most beautiful people. They live in settlements called thanda even in India its not recognised as village but almost every village in some districts of Andhra Pradesh have thanda attached to it.. They dress very beautiful

@valipe81 Maybe because what they wear in Indian havn't changed much over the last 50-100 years. So they fit in better. Hungary changed a lot. Even my grandmother dressed very differently 20 years ago than my mother does now. If they don't change with the people around them they stick out. Maybe not in India.
