I know about a cheat code to fill all (unlocked) sand tanks. On PS2 its: Hold L3 while entering Circlex2, X, Squarex2, X, Trianglex2.

i had something similar were i just activated the tower and fell off the bridge and landed on the centre wooden bit unharmed :D

the life upgrade you missed was in that part, the activation.

there are 2 breakable walls the golem can destroy.

The other was opposite of the part with the switch.

You´ll see it. Its a wall with stones around.

I believe the cheat is him walking past the golem without having to fight him on that large wooden platform.

not only, you can also save time. instead of making a big round around the tower just go straight to the tower activation. XD
