  • XBOX Media Centre can do this and only cost around $75.

  • @simonsaunders2006 new apple tv lets you use your iphone as a remote, and watch videos from the said iphone. All kinds of badass

  • is this apples answer to windows media center?

  • i love the menus and simplicity of apple products, they really know how to make easy to use products, i really want one!

  • I'm not getting one, but you hit the nail on the head.

  • can it be like a Tivo too..? because then that would be awsome...

  • Windows Media Center has had this for such a long time, and it's way better than Apple TV.

  • Yeah just like microsoft ZUNE player respect stupid windows

  • Well, I think that Media Center isn't so simple and easy to use as Apple TV. Look at the remote control, Apple Remote has 5 buttons. Media Center remote control - too many buttons. Menus are also so different between those two systems, Apple has clear and simple menus. But, Media Center is good, if u get used to it, it has some great and good looking features. I just like Apple more, I love simplicity.

  • If you ask me and most people the Media Center UI is as easy as pie. I guess Apple TV is too. Not many people really care about the remote. Having more buttons, could also give faster access to commands. It really depends on where you buy your remote from. Media Center seems to have as much simplicity as Apple. I guess Apple TV is nice, but Media Center is something that MS can say they made first and did great with. Apple TV just seems to be subpar after all I've seen.

  • Media Centre comes in a computer and is for nerds, this is for everyone else. It's basically an iPod for your TV, media centre is not. Besides this interface is much cooler than Media Centre's in person, and I've seen both in action - thanks for playin'.

  • It's a Sony Bravia XBR series

  • who makes the TV? excellent screen design

  • nice to see they took into consideration Plasma Burn In. with the alternating views
