  • I'm a REAL man and I don't give a damn about sports; and I can't stand to be around brain-dead sports fans!

  • @nightsongs1970 Me too. However I feel the same way about the brain dead head bobbing sheeple in church.

  • @SuperJeaux Amen bro. Look there are some ppl that have hardened their hearts towards God beyond help. My goal is first and formost to honor God and silence the mouths of those that claim that God is evil for sending ppl to hell. God is merciful to everyone else for sending these children of satan to hell because they even reject Gods gracious pardon and reform.

  • well first i wana say this video is edited where you dont hear everyones full answer. if youre going to try to make a point and interview people at least let them speak for themselves. if you have to edit their actual words out then what good is your point? Second, God is real. you can call me foolish and put me down but i know what is true and i know who He is. He has changed my life drastically and no one can disprove my testimony.

  • ill make it simple sports are cool and church sucks plus god doesnt exist so going to church is pointless

  • I'm a man, and I don't go to church for the very same reason that I don't go to gay bars. Not my crew.

  • LOL

  • Ok, so the church is a place where i go. Gotcha.

  • Who wants to go to a church, sit in a pew, listen to a guy in the pulpit, telling you what to do, when more than likely the preacher is doing the exact opposite behind the scenes.

  • WELL IF YOU CAN GO TO CHURCH AND BE THE SAME DEMON POSSESSED PERSON YOU ARE OUT SIDE OF CHURCH THEM YOU SHOULD STAY HOME AND WATCH YOUR PAGAN SPORTS SHOW... hypocrite!

didn't you know foolish person your arena is only pagan idol worship

you have as men... sports teams your (gods) can not save you neither will your lust for strong drink, women or money.

see if your (gods) can save you

From the Lord when he comes to execute judgment in that great day!

start taking this life seriously man!

  • @BehemothSquirrel so mean and hateful calm down little guy, you have absolutely no business putting anyone down on youtube because you can't even acknowledge how guilty you are. I bet you couldn't stand up any the man face and proclaim your naivety so confidently, why don't you work on uimproving mankind that you love so much, instead of sitting in a computer and yelling at men who are honest to themselves, gosh, how much more of a hypocrite could you be>?

  • Comment removed

  • @BehemothSquirrel you can't improve fools that believe in a god? there you go, calling people fools that you don't even know, your making a lot of assumptions. some of the smartest and most influential men of history were christian. people with a lot more understanding than you or I. and you call them all fools. ever stop to think your the one lacking a little wisdom? i mean, you sound like a teenager with the terrible way you are talking. i'm 19 and i look like the adult here.

  • @Terrybob123 ""i'm 19 and i look like the adult here.""

Yes. Stay close to God and yield to the SPirit and always continually confess pride as sin and present in us all to some degree. And God will do exceedingly byond all we ask or think according to His power that works within us Eph3.20.

  • GO bEARS MAN

  • they've obivously have never been hit with the HOLYSPIRIT thats a addrenalin rush

  • New York Giants game> church

  • Because they don't teach the truth about what's going on in real life. All you hear is inspirational speeches. If we are in the last days. I hear about how do we prepare for what is to come and all these churches follow these pagen holidays and promote them. Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving etc.

  • that aisan guy is right. church is BORING.

  • The foundation of the church is the complete opposite of the Gospel that Jesus taught.

  • I'm a girl and I would rather go to sports. I think church is a waste of precious time. Ugh, my parents force me to go to church so... Tomorrow I have to go on stage and say some memory verse BS... I really don't want to and I am scared.

  • Men don't like church because it's hypocritical BS. Some fool is gonna preach to me who has done worse shit in their life than half the people in prison...

  • @donnis618

    what he said.

  • Because once I found out the true origins of christianity, I COULD NEVER GO BACK!!

  • @fairguynova Right on Christianity, Islam it's all false teachings and money making machines.

  • @fairguynova

Amen! I took the same path...by accident even. I wasn't even looking for the knowledge, it found me.

  • because black men are stupid and will remain that way until god knock some sence into there pea brain but at the end they are going to wish they had a relationship with god nwo people itx on the rise get ready yall think yall have it bad now u ant seen nothin yet

  • Life is hard enough without a supreme being telling you that life is fucked up because we did it.

No thanks. I've got 4 children I'm trying to raise and money is low I don't need God telling me I'm not cutting it. If anything God-dude should be cutting me fucking check to help feed my children.

  • you know what - i have to agree with the last freaken statement. i had to find another service to go to because there was a smokin hot bombshell two rows in front of me. instead of looking at the pastor and paying attention, i was drifting away with her. haha. so yeah - attractive women distract. too bad she wasn't single - she'd be my wife right now.

  • The problem here is, churches are based on what men thinks instead of what God says. This person says, "This verse says this or that. You can't take it like that because you must look at its context."(...for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.) instead of listening to God, and they make the word of God of no effect through their traditions. I refuse to sit in a dead, traditional church. I'm looking for what's real, and what's in most churches is unreal stuff that men think up!

  • Men typically are more rational and logical than women were are relgion is mostly emotional crap

  • continued....

Guys don't like church because then they have to "be good" which goes against everything they've been taught about being a man. Being good and well behaved is for sissies. Once we began emphasizing the God of Love, mercy, and charity over the God of Manifest Destiny and unrestrained capitalism, men began to abandon ship.

  • @darthbullwinkle02 What the hell are you talking about?

  • Hate to break it to you, but if you want men to come back to the church, the church needs to become what it was back in the "bad old days." Look at other religions where men play a more dominant role. Men cannot feel comfortable unless they feel they are superior and on top. The rise of egalitarianism in the west has caused men to retreat, yearning for older ways of life where masculinity ruled and femininity was antagonized.

  • Go Bears!!

  • These are real reasons many men do not go to church. Many are just too carnally minded. There of course are those like me, when I was young, well at least a hope so.

  • Well, for me, being a christian, sporting event...

    priceless

  • I would rather go to church... and i am an atherist...

i just hate the idea of watching sports even more... is soo repugnant!

to just surrender to the group will that leads to huliganism... sports also creates nothing!

at least with religion we have inquisitons and stuff we can use for inspiration in literature and games...

    like nazis....

also if i go to church i can annoy the priest wit pointing out uncomfortable epic fail.

  • I dont pray... i only venerate the creativity and the unquenshable hunger for the power to create and build and learn..

i dont pray.. but i do devote my time piously in the service of furthering creativity.

  • @ZerqTM sports creates alot of thing name me another event where people of different races, beliefs, gender and backgrounds come together to cheer for one thing with passion. Most people who hate sports just had a bad relationship with sports during their childhood

  • TRUE faith also gives all of those things!!

  • @ZerqTM This is something you as an athiest and me as a Christian can agree on! lol, sports are for weak minded people who find bliss in ignorance..It's too bad

  • YOU GOT TO HELP ME!! IM GOING INSANE!! I AM FORCED INTO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY AND IT WASTES AlL MY TIME!!! IM GOING TO KILL MY SELF!!

  • then tell you parents that you're an atheist

  • RACIST???

  • I think it's becasue men are more grounded in reality than women. FYI I don't like sports either. I'd rather do something productive, like anything but church lol

  • Many men don't go to church, because they know in their heart it's a JOKE!

Christianity is Pagan...and all religions are a LIE told by the devil.

The truth is coming to light. The name of the Father is YAHUWAH, and the name of the son is Yahuwshua! Stop calling out to those false names...wake up! Start to think and question your life/salvation.

The truth about "church" has been spoken

  • Sports is okay, but it's number 2! Church should be number 1!

  • Because they are not Saved

  • They don't need to be saved, or should I say brainwashed into stupidity.

  • Stuphynil, who brainwashed you to think that you will not stand before God? Who told you that? It is a scientific impossibility that life arose from non organic materials...Why do you think that you are some how more intelligent than one who believes that God caused life and is involved in His creation? Who lied to you? Is your argument valid enough to bet your eternity too? I am asking you to think.

  • @johnandraquell "It is a scientific impossibility that life arose from non organic materials..."

lol you mean like how God created the first human out of a handfull of dirt

  • @badpanda84 Exactly only God could pull that off and that is my point. lol

  • @badpanda84,

    BOOM! Perfect!

  • no ur brain washed thats y the best games r on sundays and now almost every day

  • Most of them look pretty well shaved to me, except the third, and especially, the fourth guy.

  • Nice

  • Yah, I keep hearing that Jesus shaves, but, judging by his pictures, I just don't see it. Those Romans, though, were pretty well groomed.

  • All these politicians keep saying Jesus is their ro-model, but they all look like a bunch of Caesars in three piece suits.

  • Lol, true true. So do you have a Christan background?

  • These men have not tried the right church or had a relationship with GOD. It can be entertaining and excitable. Have you ever seen a crippled get up and walk miraculously? A leg to grow? Come visit a true miracle believing church and it is so much entertaining.

  • i don't like church because it is FOR WHITE PEOPLE. White people just want to fuck all the women in "missionary" position. MORMONS come to my house they will get BEAT DOWN to sidewalk stains.

  • Those guys brought out some good points like boredom, distractions and not being able to share their skills.

  • As a man living in Pgh, I I find that churches are not geared to me. I've said that if any church in SW PA would provide decent-paying jobs w/ health care, that congregation would winth 5 years, outdraw the Steelers. Every histoirian writing about the 1st xtians agreed that they provided a social safety net.

  • I'm a man (a straight, heterosexual male!) and I think that Sports are wayyyy more boring than church !

  • This is why I dont go to church and why I became an atheist! All church and religion dose is try to tell you how to think and live. Christianity wonts you to give up your autonomy, freethinking and ratinal scientific reasoning skills, to be intellectualy lasy and go by blind faith and dogmatic ideals. Besides creationism dose not explain how biology works! Science , Naturalism, free thought, Oh and fucking party! Life is to short to care about what happens after death!!

  • I would rather go to a sporting event than church because Church has nothing to do with God. The very name church derives from a pagan sungoddess. They observe satanic rites such as christmas and Easter instead of God's appointed festivals. They replaced God's Sabbath and none of them even know God's name let alone use it. Need more?

  • As a woman I can agree that many churches today are overrun with silly women who are shouting, dancing, and carrying on, but NEVER LEARNING.

  • preach

  • Maybe because many men who love sports rather than the body of Christ are unregenerated and idolatrous. Or they go to a false church where truth is not expounded and it is practically a waste of time. I would so much rather fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ than go to a stupid ball game where Christ name is being profaned and his holy sabbath ignored. Try being funny on something not so serious. Church is not a building but what Christ came to die for. His Sheep.

  • "where Christ name is being profaned and his holy sabbath ignored."

His name isn't "Christ" and I hope you do not think the Sabbath is Sunday.

  • I fall into the category of men that hates watching sports. I also can't stand going to church. In both cases I like to feel like I am getting something done. I associate church with a bunch of emotional women dancing and being goofy. Church is so uninspiring. I would rather have a theological discussion with a friend or read a thought provoking book on God. What the body of Christ needs is more bible studies that funnel right down to the individuals specific needs.

  • How about a thought provoking book on the body of Christ. Church is the body of Christ and is more than a sermon but the fellowship of the saints.

  • As it should be but it isn't. All I see are pastors with bloated salaries soaking the congregation with fiery sermons on tithing so he can live it up and pay the mortgage on the expensive church they built or the fancy sound system.

I see churches growing not by conversion but by tearing people away from other congregations. I have taken it upon myself to start a bible study at home where no body gets paid. I hope it works out.

  • You just have to find the right one - me and my wife have found a great body of believers where we do not even take up an offering and where the sermons are doctrinal and life changing. Oh and we actually fellowship after church for more than five minutes. Finding a home church is very commendable though.

  • 4:12 dis guy iz funny LOL! he should do stand-up in da church, might be his gift ta bring more men back ta church!!??

  • 1:40 he might be on ta sumthin? LOL! 4real though...

  • There is no getting around it.God already knew that there would be more woman in the Body of christ why else would he call it a Bride.

We as men have pride and Pride is one of the Major things that must be killed when turning to Christ and alot of men dont want to do that because they feel it is out of their means.

WE as men had better die to pride because our Ego is no match for God and if we dont there will be a price to pay.

  • Church is kinda whack!!! If church people really wanna fight evil, get out here in these streets!!!! LoL

  • First, let's do the church thing and then the sports thing!

  • You cutt the other guy off he was about to say sometihng after "i lvoe sporting events" but the video cutt it off. Why is thaT?

  • yeah Mark all guys like sports!..this is macho crap. Get over yourself and stop being a sad ole pseudo str8!......the church needs 'macho' guys like a hole in the head!

  • I'm a guy and I don't like sports. I rather find something else to do than sit in front of the tv and watch men and women in competition with each other. like fix a car or work in my veggie garden.

  • I am a woman who hates church because they have become cultic people who denies the love of God across the nations knowing God loves all the children of the world. People know racism is satanic and yet practice this ritual in their daily lives. The very bible they say they are for they live against everyday in their hearts, minds, and lifestyles. Faith is meant to be lived in love which is godliness. NO LOVE, NO GODLINESS! PERIOD, END OF STORY!

  • because church is repetitive..and religion is bullshit..

  • I agree.

  • Part of the problem is that the songs or choruses sung in church are very "touch-feely/love song" oriented. Some are so awful I literally stop singing! Awful.

  • The worship song I cannot stand is: "I keep falling in love with him over and over and over and over again." Save that one for Women of Faith, will you? (LOL)

I like hymns/songs that both guys and gals can relate to, like Onward Christian Soldiers, Faith Of Our Fathers, and Ray Boltz's "I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb".

It's the emergent liberal churches that are impotent 'cause a politically correct "love gospel" is preached instead of "fire and brimstone". Men fear women more than God.

  • ISAIAH 4:1---And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,We will eat our OWN bread, and wear our OWN apparel:Only let us be called by thy name,to take away our reproach.

  • I hate the church not the people in spite of the church folks corniness.

  • a real man can lay his heart before jesus. men dont want security or safety? (why do men bother to work for financial security then? why bother with love?) why can't a man who love God sing love songs to him?

i agree, we all need more discipline, honour and TRUTH. want an argument? talk to a woman. ( im just kidding)

  • i hate relgion.

  • Church actually is made boring because of not disciplining your mind, and Church means a group of people getting together having a great time lauging joking and playing around and completely learning loads about Christ, it may seem boring but the reward is ours love each other no matter what thats Christ love, yes people can also do that without being a Christian but whats the reward for them??

  • Why do these men hate church? Because they're boring! I love church. I feel good every time I go. Its uplifting. Sports are dumb and a waste of time.

  • I agree.

What these men want is nothing more than a moralistic theraputic deity. A god that makes them feel good and is beneficial to them. A god that fits into their time schedule. The true God of Israel and His Son Jesus Christ demands their time, talent, and money. He wants to them to sell it all and follow Him. Sports is not bad but it has its place under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

  • "Christ demands their time, talent, and money."

ROTFL This is why there are so many atheists/agnostics, and I don't blame them. The ignorance of men is stiffling. I just wish that they knew and understood that God hates religions as much as they do. Every religion on Earth is man made-not Scriptural. They all serve and enrich men-not God. And they all lead men astray. "Come out of her my people".

  • They don't hate church, they just don't like you Driscoll!

There's just as much of God's presence in a sporting event, as anywhere else!

  • Church is just a building! True Spirituality comes from with-in, for men, or women!

There is more spirituality in Nature then today's churches!

  • No you are wrong the Church is the bride of Christ. Becareful what you say of her.

  • Get over your fear....that's not God's plan! You are soooo old testament!

    a royal priest craft indeed!

  • I beg your pardon - please read:

  • Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

  • Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The fear of God is healthy and promotes holiness.

And I do not have a problem reading the Old Testament.

Fear God and keep his commandments this is the whole duty of man.

Not football, flat screens, and money.

  • aroyal-pain: GET A LIFE

  • I Have Life - eternal and abundant found in Jesus Christ How about You.

  • Me? He was a good guy! So was Buddha and some others....

  • Like all priests, the guy here is lost:

"Then Yahuweh said, 'Forasmuch as these people [religious and political leaders] approach Me with their mouths, and with their lip service, they have removed their hearts from Me. Their fear (yir'ah) toward Me exists because it is taught out of manmade traditions learned by rote."

The rational debate between "fear" and "revere" ends with this verse.

  • AME....agat0r!

  • I think its far easier for a woman to feel comfortable in a male environment than men feel comfortable in a female one, and men need to feel needed, useful, manly and active. Men hate church because none of their needs are addressed though of course, no one will admit that they have needs in the first place. Pastors need to shorten their sermons to 10 minutes. If you can't say it in 10 minutes, you haven't prepared enough.

  • I am a man that loves preaching - preaching is very masculine and it is by the foolishness of preaching that man are saved. The reason why sermons are regulated to ten minutes is because often expositions on Scripture appeal to the new man not the flesh. The New man would rather listen to 2 hours of preaching than 2 hours of football. Sports are a waste of life. - Check out John Piper and Mark Driscoll they preaching interesting and engaging.

  • Mark Driscoll cannot even be compared to John Piper and Mark Driscoll's preaching appeals to the flesh. he is a vulgar person who uses perverted speech to attract an audience.

  • aroy: OKAY, PREACH TO ME I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YA YOU SAY MAN ARE SAVED, SAVE FROM WHAT I REALY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.

  • not sure what you are refering to but here goes - Mankind is saved from the wrath of God because of their sins. They are also saved from their sins they will stand holy and blameless before Christ in Love. They will be saved from idolatry, fornication, and drunkendess. They will be saved eventually from all of sin in Heaven. All those who trust in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and will REPENT of their sins will be saved from the wrath of God for their sins. Christ took the wrath of God for his people.

  • aroy: you say they will be saved eventually from all of sin in heaven, how can we be saved from sin in heaven when we never lived in heaven to sin. you also say all those who trust in the lord jesus christ and will repent of their sins WILL BE SAVED from the wrath of god for their sins. i thought you said MANKIND IS SAVED FROM THE WRATH OF GOD because of their sins. you see this type of stuff is confuessing and it's not making sense. and people want me to go to church.

  • "it is by the foolishness of preaching that man are saved."

Wrong. If you actually knew the Messiah's name, rather than call Him "Lord Jesus Christ"(which is errant on all accounts) you would know the only one that can save. Thanks for illustrating why Church is more frustrating than beneficial.

  • Jesus Christ is the Messiah and The Lord of Lords if you hate his body - the Church - you hate Him.

  • Silly royalpriest LOL. The Messiah is named Yahushua-it means Yahuweh is salvation. Only He came in His Fathers' name. God's name isn't "Jes" LOL.

The name "Jesus" was FIRST USED in 1629-end of debate. And sorry to burst your bubble but "Church" is the name of a pagan sungoddess, and is not found on a single page, in Scripture. Wishful thinking changes nothing. The "Church" is drench in Sun god worship, which is why they are viewed as "vomit" by God.

  • Every single rite and ritual found in church stems from Babylon-not scripture. Christmas and Easter have absolutely nothing to do with the God of Abraham-nothing! God's Sabbath is Saturday-not SUNday. His name is Yahuweh-not Lord. The Messiah is Yahushua-not Jesus. Men have edited their creator, removing His name 7000 times. Men substituted Satanic rites like Christmas instead of observing God's appointed days. Men changed His Sabbath-not God. It is you who needs to be careful-not me.

  • Your delusional.

  • It's "you are" or "you're", professor, and as soon as you attack the messenger rather than the message, you have just lost the debate. Religious myrmidons like you always react the same way.

You do it because you can't refute my words. There is only one truth. Religions are retarded.

BTW, if religious men didn't edit God, you would know that God calls religious leaders "delusional".

  • Alright lets dance! So you criticize Christians because they worship on Sunday and celebrate the birth and resurection of Christ. Okay I can see how Christmas is pagan if you believe in Santa Clause and Easter if you follow the Easter bunny. Both holidays are so commerciallized but that does not mean that it is wrong or pagan to celebrate the birth and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

  • I see no problem with a Hebrew transliteration of the name of Christ, but I also see no problem with the English either. As far as the actual name of the triune Godhead that is unpronounceable - it is the ineffable tetragrammaton - the Jewish Scribes so referenced the name of God the did not pronounce and wrote only the vowels YHWH - (remeber there is no Y in Hebrew so this itself is a transliteration) - Also read Revelations 19 Christ is going to be given a name that no man knows.

  • Why do you engage when you are so clearly lost?

Every time Paul identified Yahushua as the Messiah, he wrote ΧΩ (Chi Omega) with a line over these capitalized letters as a placeholder for Messiah. Paul never wrote Christos/Christ, nor did any Renewed Covenant author. But don't take my word on it-look at Comfort and Barrett's "The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts" and see for yourself.

  • But even if "Chrio" was written out(it's not) you don't transliterate a WORD-that is linguistics 101. Here is why placeholders were used: They knew that chrisma referred to the smearing on of a medicinal ointment or drug. Chrestos meant that the drug was fit for use, mild and pleasant. A chrestologia was a smooth talker who could get you to pay him for dose of mans medicinal remedies. Chresis was the sexual use of a woman, an alleged benefit of the aphrodisiacs of old.

  • To chrematizo was to transact business and chrema was the money or riches earned from the enterprise. Chrezo was the habit forming nature of the drugs that led to the riches. Christianos, transliterated Christian would therefore be the source of this wealth and the victim of the drugs. Christos, transliterated Christ would have been the one who was drugged. Chrio would be the manmade cures themselves.

  • I used "Anointed/Messiah" rather than "Christ" for many reasons. First, used as a name or title, "christos" is not to be found in any Greek New Covenant manuscript prior to Constantine's corruptions. When addressing the Messiah, every one of the earliest manuscripts use a placeholder. A line was universally placed over these two letters, signifying Deity. When applicable to the Messiah, "Anointed" was rendered XS (Chi-Sigma), XU (Chi-Upsilon), XW (Chi-Omega), or XN (Chi-Nu).

  • Second, had the apostles meant to use "Anointed or Messiah" as a name, rather than as a title or description, they would have transliterated the Hebrew name "Mashiyach" into its equivalent Greek letters to replicate the sound. This was done in John 1:41 where John records Andrew, Simon Peter's brother saying: "We have found the Messias (Messiah)." Then again in John 4:24.

  • "'God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.' The woman said to Him, 'I know that Messias (Messiah) is coming; when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.' Yahushua said to her, 'I who speak to you am He.'"

It's safe to say Yahshua knows His own name and title better than any contemporary translator.

  • Messiah, as a name or title, is not rendered elsewhere in the New Covenant Writings. So it is evident the apostles were trying to convey the meaning of "mashiyach" which is "anointed" in every other place it is used. Therefore, so should we. Being anointed is central to our relationship, understanding, and salvation.

  • Third, if the apostles only meant to convey the meaning of the Hebrew word "mashiyach" (anointed - to rub, immerse or anoint with oil), and nothing else, they would have translated the Hebrew word into its closest Greek equivalent and been done with it. Yet they didn't. But although they didn't, the post Constantine manuscripts did replace the original two letter format universally found in all of the early manuscripts with "christos."

  • So here's the rub. Should these first Catholics have been correct with their alterations, we should follow their example and translate the meaning of the Greek word into the most similar English one so that we might understand the significance of being anointed. If they were wrong to change Scripture, we should expunge their edits and return to the original nomenclature.

  • And fourth, the reason the oldest manuscripts differ from the more recent ones is that the meaning of the Greek "christos" is not equivalent to the Hebrew "mashiyach." In the Hebrew mind, someone who was anointed with oil was immersed in the true light and spirit of Yahuweh. Olive oil provided the purest source of illumination in their darkness so someone who was anointed with oil was the purest representative of God in that light is symbolic of His nature and His truth.

  • However, in juxtaposition to this, in Greek society, a "christos" was a physician or pharmacist who applied herbal ointments or drugs on people who felt they needed manmade cures. The doctor dispensed these drugs out of a plethora of jars he carried with him in a wooden box marked with the same Rx symbol (the Greek letters Rho Chi), we find on the doors or our drugstores.

  • The ancient Greek dispensers of these drugs did so under the watchful "Eye of Horus" - the pagan god associated with medicine. I am certain that Yahuweh did not intend for men to misrepresent the significance of "anointing" with "drugged."

  • One last thought on chrio before we move on. I have found it written out in Scripture, at the end of Revelation 3:18, albeit as part of a compound word: egchrio. The eg prefix is probably a contraction of ego, meaning "I, me, and my," as the word is used in the context of the Laodicean Assembly being self-reliant. Moreover, the topic is drugs, in this case a mineral compound that was used to heal sore eyes.

  • Next, you make the ignorant claim that God's name is unable to be pronounced and there is no letter "Y" iin Hebrew LOL. Ever hear of a "Yod"? While it's true that vowels were not included, you seem to forget that the entire text lacked vowels. Since not a single word of the Old Covenant in Babylonian Hebrew included vowels, that would be true of the entire text of the Tanach. To question Yahuweh and accept the vocalization of all other words, including is irrational.

  • Further, since Yahuweh gave us the basis of His name, hayah/I Was, I Am, and I Will Be, and since hayah forms the basis of hundreds of Hebrew words and names ranging from life to salvation, from Yahushua to Yasha'yah, it is highly unlikely that Yahuweh is an errant transliteration of YHWH as the whole Hebrew language would be wrong if it were.

  • Next, you say "there is nothing wrong with observing the birth and ascension of the messiah" while attributing these events to the Satanic festivals of Christmas and Easter. You are simply desperate in your comfort place. Do you know when the Messiah was born? I doubt it, but a cursory study would reveal that "Christmas" has no chance at being the time. If you want to know, I'll tell you-it was the Miqra of Tabernacles in 2 BCE(whole different topic). Were you told to observe His birth?

  • Did anyone observe His birth? The answer to both is no. In fact, His "birthday" is obscure in Scripture because it isn't important to Him-it is His sacrifice that matters. That day, we are indeed told to observe but that day is Passover, a day which undoubtedly you forget. As far as His ascension, that happened on the Miqra of FirstFruits, and yes, it happened to fall on the first day of the week in that year (33). So if you want to observe His rising, do it on the day He prescribed for it.

  • Since you would rather trust man, and substitute His days with Pagan ones, you have missed the entire picture. God has 7 "holidays". They represent the most important aspects of His plan, and they have prophetic significance. The first 3 are Passover, unleavened Bread, and FirstFruits. They are 3 days IN A ROW for a reason..Hmmmm. Therefore, your claim that God doesn't care about you substituting His days, His timing, with Pagan holidays steeped in Satanic worship is asinine and blasphemous.

  • And finally to the question of "Church".

Let's look at Scripture. The word used is ekklesia. There are only two honest ways to deal with the Greek term "ekklesia." When it is being used as a word it must be translated "called-out," "assembly," "called-out assembly," or "out-calling." When it is being used as a title it must be transliterated "ekklesia." There are no other valid or rational options.

  • The word/title "church" is erroneous as it is neither a translation nor transliteration of the Greek ekklesia/called-out assembly. Worse, the only linguistic basis for "church" is the name of the Anglo-Saxon sungoddess Circe, the daughter of Helios. Her name was pronounced "Chirch," and it gave rise to the English words "circle" and "circus." Circles are symbols for the sun and circuses were known for acts of magic.

  • Also, keep in mind that when determining the legacy of ancient words, it's the consonants which count, not the vowels. "Circe" and "church" are based upon "crc" with the "h" being silent and thus optional.

Circe is a goddess with an illustrious past. In Greek mythology, Circe was "the daughter of the Sun." She wore a nimbus or disc of light around her head, identical to the ones Catholics place above Mary's likeness.

  • Homer speaks of the sungoddess in the tenth book of the Odyssey. Circe tells Homer that he must descend into the house of Hades and seek the ghost of the blind Theban prophet Teiresias whose reason, she claimed, was unshaken. Thebes was the religious center of Egyptian sungod worship and considered to be the city of the dead. I dare say, the substitution of this satanic rubbish for the essential truth conveyed by "out-calling" is but one of many "Christian" abominations.

  • Ekklesia communicates an important truth which church hides. We are called-out not in. Speaking of the Whore of Babylon, upon whose myths the Catholic Church was based, Revelation says: "Come out of her My people." The called-out assembly has been summoned by Yahuweh for the purpose of deliberating - that is to think rationally and discuss carefully His Word so as to provide life-giving advice to mankind. That's hard to do when we muck up His Word with words of our own.

  • Good point. "Church" is more about assembly than a building - and these guys are rightfully claiming sports in favour of a Sunday service in a dull and insipid building.

  • So you say that the Church is not on any page of scripture - this is why you are (sorry about that earlier) delusional. Whom did Paul write to in his letters? churches. What does it mean for a husband to love his wife like Christ loved the church (Eph 5)? The church is all over the Bible, either you haven't read or you read it with your eyes closed.

  • haha @ 1:13

  • i think calorine needs to chill out a bit. you are generalizing men to such a degree that it associates almost every activity, including worship, with sexual motivation. not all men are as superficial and shallow as you think; and you are just as sexist as everyone human on the earth because you youself are making the same assumptions. your not perfect, nobody is. sorry if it was a joke but it wasnt the least bit funny.

  • I have the perfect answer. Lets bring in the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders, and have them strip as they lead worship and hey yeah, we will get some men in church! Please entertain and make me feel really good about my self centered lust led life and I'll come to church. Maybe men are just lovers of themselves more than lovers of God.

  • God is imaginary

    Sport is real

  • Prove that God is imaginary.

  • Prove Santa Claus is imaginary.

  • I did not say he was.

  • prove that god is not imaginary

  • I can't prove he's not imaginary. Nor can it be proved that he is. That's silly but the evidence of the resurrection of Christ is quite compelling. Then the manuscript evidence of the scriptures, the eyewitness accounts of the risen savior and the list goes on. Faith in God is more reasonable than faith in Atheism.

  • to have faith in something that was made up to put fear in people is NOT reasonable

  • Nothing I said was made up. The resurrection of Christ is a historic event. You can choose not to believe that's your choice but to say God or Christianity is made up is an atheistic cop out. Have you ever looked at or considered the evidence or are just rejecting God based on your personal beliefs?

  • yeah sure.

    religious people are fools.

  • I'm a fool because I can look at evidence and choose to believe. You haven't looked at anything. You made a decision with out looking at any evidence. Whose the fool?? The bible says the fool hath said in his heart there is no God.

  • what evidence? there is none!

the bible was writen by the government believing anything that comes from it makes you a fool.

  • What?? The Bible was written by a number of people over the span of 1400 years the government has nothing to do with it. The evidence is resurrection of Christ, the eyewitness accounts, the scriptures.

  • oh please anything that was written that long ago has been changed by the government.

  • Well, I'm glad to be that kind of fool. Where did you get your views on history. Is there a book or reference to this opinion of yours that the government change the bible, I never heard anyone ever say this before?

  • Prove that he is.

You can't see the wind but you can see it's effects. I can't see God but i know he exists because of the effects i can see.

  • no but i can feel it.

  • In the same way i can feel God working through me and in the things i can see.

You say prove he does exist. Can you prove he doesn't?

  • aaaand what effects might that be?

  • The changing of ones behaviour.

  • uh thats no effect of god

its an effect of humans :D

    :P
