Nevzorov inspired me to stop riding. I haven't been on a horse in months and someday I will acquire a friend and work with him/her on this methodology of intricate amygdala working of incredible trust. Thanks for posting this.
So beautiful!!! And the most amazing thing is that there is no bridle or anything else that forces the horse to do all that. I wonder how he taught those horses to hold their heads like that!! Has anybody and idea?!
@NextLionQueen The position of the head is nothing special. If a horse is naturally collected the head gets in this position. You can also see it when horses are playing with each other, though it isn't a position that a horse should be forced into or should be kept in for hours long.
@Sky212 Okay, that makes sense! Thanks for answering that question, that bothered me for a long time! So The horse really does that because it is collected, not because it is trained or anything to do that?
@Sky212 Okay, I have another question. Does that mean, that horses ridden in the Western Style aren't collected? And would every horse do that if it is fully collected?
Horses are smart if you teach them with positive reinforcment instead of normally, it is a lot easier than it seems, I'm doing a similar thing with my horse.
Also, the head position is called natual collection, it comes natuarly when they are focused and happy.

Also, the head position is called natual collection, it comes natuarly when they are focused and happy.
@NextLionQueen It's called Natural horsemanship. Not matter what clinician you decided to learn from the whole basis is that you, the human, must learn how to communicate to your horse in his own language. You, the human, must learn what all his movements are for and why they move the way the do. Watch a mare and her foal, that is the basics of natural horsemanship. It is an amazing journey what you can do with a horse once you learn THEIR language.
@NextLionQueen most people find it disconcerting if they cant control an animal with a bridle. but actually most animals like this only need a nudge to turn. not yanking the reign. Im probably guilty of it. as I was a kid. and didnt know better. I do now
I have to say, thank you so much for uploading this video! I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching such amazing performances. The bond that Nevzorov has with his horses is truly astounding and inspiring. One day, I hope I'll be able to bond with my horses in a similar way. :)
Omg you are so amazing! I´m so sad, that there are´nt more peole like you. It must be really awsome to "Talk" with horses in this way. You ride better then all dressageride in the world and you´re horses are so happy. they can be glad that they´re your horses. I would be :P
omg you guys are a bunch of idiots. Don't you see this guy is a one of a kind horse trainer he is skilled and not abusing horses! He probably doesn't have followers like parelli. and honestly anyone who can teach a horse to do something above the normal wak trot canter jumping is AWESOME just saying if you have talent like this people get all jealous and start saying stupid shit about you. So people come on stop being so dumb and childish open your eyes to talent for once!
So how do they train the horses to do this, like the piaffe with no bridle??
And please don't give me an answer like "Love" "Magic" and all that crap. T.T Because anyone who knows anything about good training will know it requires some pretty strict discipline...
Its how much the horse trusts you, ive learned that after having my horse, the more he trusts you the more he will be willing to work with you.
When I first got my horse It took him over a year to get him just to trust me, cause of his past owner that abused him so bad. (rotten b**tard) He didnt trust anyone anymore.
@erness6 this horse is trained to look pissed seriously happiness is more than ears up. The horse would not being doing this if he was not happy with how his handler is working him.
I have studied horses throughout my entire life and I don't know, they don't look terribly happy IMO. My horse, who is trained..normal, looks happier to work. But I don't read too much into this sort of..deal.
Loved the video, and lovee riding a wonderful horse that is 16.3hh :) Clyde is amazing with me, just like this horse with you. Congradulations, you have an awesome friend by your side. And he(she) seems to enjoy You aswell as you like to enjoy Him(her)
i wish my horse wasn't out of work and going for op wed cos i miss riding sooo much.
i taught him to do a pirouette and tun on the forehand from floor and under saddle recently and to bow hehe, hopefully one day we can be this good together too :D
wow i love this, it's amazing! the horse shows power, freedom, alliance with the rider.. something we dont see a lot these days in the dressage ring.. sadly. i wish i were able to acomplish something even close to this.. i've worked on it but there's no way my horse would put that much trust in me.. oh well. love her anyways! :P
A horse is a powerful being all the things in this vidieo comes natrural to them. I love the song and the horsemenship showed, not that I would want a horse to rear near me but he trusted the horse and the horse trusted him. Anyway great job!
i would luv to be able to ride my horse without a bit. im into dressage and i hate the thought of having to put on strong bits on my pony. but i dont think ill be able to have lessons there so i try and keep my horse using a simple snaffle bit , and not to jab him in the mounth or anything, i try to ride him on a loose rein.
Great job on the video! I love Nevzorov, what he can do with a horse is beautiful. for the one asking-->The polo ponies died from selenium toxicity due to a miscalculated vitamin prescription. Incredibly tragic..
Ocala Fl. Pharmacy. mixed vitamins incorrectly which caused the death. Case is still under investigation. It is a trauma to us locals. My heart goes out to the owner and the trainer.
Has any heard about the death of the 21 polo ponies in Florida or am i the only one who has read about it so far??? so sad, started crying my eyes out when i read about it. the polo sport is so cruel and hard and have to much equitement on there horses!! Yes i know its to protect them but it still cruel and harsh!! :( Have a moment of silent for thoses horses and the other horse whose owner cut off its head!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! so angry!!
I read about it in the LA times, the crime sections and i forget where the other one was. People go crazy i guess especially in these bad economic times!!
I heard about it on a horse forum thing i believe, I cant remember where but i think it was a horse forum.. they think someone poisoned them or somthing?
How long should the rope or whatever you are using be around there necks?? do you need to get them used to it at first or do you just get on them and ride?
That's not a sign of aggression, but mostly it's a sign of concentration and attention. The ears are focused on the man standing on the ground/rider. When a horse is really putting some effort in his work, they mostly flatten their ears. Just take a good look when their running out in the pasture, most of the time you can see the ears lying flat. Compare that again with a aggresive picture. See the difference about flat ears in a concentrated way and aggresive way?

I don't have an enclosed arena (I have arena w/o fence for barrier) so I don't think I could do this with my horses... They'd want to run back to the barn to be with their buddies.. LOL
So it is just the question of relations between your horse and you, not of a fence. If the horse wants to be with you, is it's more interesting for it, if the horse is ready to be attentive to you as long as it's needed it WILL stay with you. With the fence around or without it ...
This is just simply amazing i fill my heart with hoy when i know some one can do this with the love and compassion of a horse i love my horses and i will hope one day to have the cotection between me and abner that you have unbelieve
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Fuck al poor bitch ok stop being so sacastic ok and accpet when somebody wiht experience take ok?!! because is not to be mean just to tell her so next time she will do better ok?!
It's not exacly that he train them - he is friend to that horses and they do what they do, because they like him, and they like to spend time with him and have fun - horses love playing as probably most of their owners know:) It's not a clear method, it's more a philosophy. Check his website - just find it in google, its called Nevzorov Haute Ecole. It's very strict, you cannot do anythink to abuse a horse - for me it took 2 years to decide that I truly agree with all the rules of NHE
i used 2 use a rope around neck like that, started with my "first born" many yrs back, called it the "wonder rope" which i still have...i thought i invented this. smile... Awesome!!!
of course they do it for treats. I mean what horse would just do that without some sort of reward. but there is trust between the rider and horse other wise the horse wouldnt do those tricks. obviously that guy is a great trainer!
Trust ... amazing .... blablablabla ... he got all of you fooled . That guy uses extreme method of training, and then he uses tones of treats , notice he always have something in his hands, hidden. The horse does not comply because of he loves or trust that guy, he was taught and drilled and then fed , they do it for the food ... that is all
i do exactly what he does and i dont even pick up a single hair of grass and i can have my horse do a lot of those things. I swear truth on my life that you dont have to have treats. His horses remeber are 2 years old!!!! Its not as easy as it looks either you have to belive in yourself as much as you do with horse.Horse weomens best freind.
Wow, this amazes me, the fact that all that training was done with trust and true horsemanship, this video has really touched me, I ride horses and love them sooooo much and I'd love 2 try that out!
I will tell you straight out this is way harder than it looks.WAY HARDER. though i can give you the basic steps for trying it out. But hear this and you will probably back out you must not EVER put a saddle on the horses baack for atleast 1 year, no BRIDLE EVER,no spurs,no hitting or shoving, and all you can use is a cordeo for guidance, your brain, and your body thats it. If you prmise to do that i can give you a lot of help and advice for anyone!(=
I'm a 18 year old horselover=) and I live in Sweden so I apoligize for my bad english.
I would like to learn more about this way of riding/taking care of your horse,I get so stunned just by watching Nevzorov
and I've always searched for a better way of working with horses ,though Natural horsemanship is the closest I've worked with.I would love to get som advise or a LOT from you(if it's possible).
This and working equitation is the sort of thing I think that my filly would be very much suited for! I will post her video for you to look at.

So it is just the question of relations between your horse and you, not of a fence. If the horse wants to be with you, is it's more interesting for it, if the horse is ready to be attentive to you as long as it's needed it WILL stay with you. With the fence around or without it ...

It's very strict, you cannot do anythink to abuse a horse - for me it took 2 years to decide that I truly agree with all the rules of NHE

wow!! this dude is amazing! his hose and him have so much trust
palominopeachs 3 years ago
of course they do it for treats. I mean what horse would just do that without some sort of reward. but there is trust between the rider and horse other wise the horse wouldnt do those tricks. obviously that guy is a great trainer!
MadsLUVShorses 3 years ago
Trust ... amazing .... blablablabla ... he got all of you fooled . That guy uses extreme method of training, and then he uses tones of treats , notice he always have something in his hands, hidden. The horse does not comply because of he loves or trust that guy, he was taught and drilled and then fed , they do it for the food ... that is all
Sterlingevreux 3 years ago
i do exactly what he does and i dont even pick up a single hair of grass and i can have my horse do a lot of those things.

Ponyluva123 3 years ago 2
I will tell you straight out this is way harder than it looks.WAY HARDER. though i can give you the basic steps for trying it out. But hear this and you will probably back out you must not EVER put a saddle on the horses baack for atleast 1 year, no BRIDLE EVER,no spurs,no hitting or shoving, and all you can use is a cordeo for guidance, your brain, and your body thats it. If you prmise to do that i can give you a lot of help and advice for anyone!(=

Hi!
My name is Emilie
I'm a 18 year old horselover=) and I live in Sweden so I apoligize for my bad english.
I would like to learn more about this way of riding/taking care of your horse,I get so stunned just by watching Nevzorov
and I've always searched for a better way of working with horses ,though Natural horsemanship is the closest I've worked with.I would love to get som advise or a LOT from you(if it's possible).
Best wishes Emilie=)

if you google Nevzorov Haute Ecole you will come to the website. under "school" there is a section "forum"
This is the NHE school, where NHE followers go to learn about the NHE principles.
