Consider that Newton and most scientists throughout history were christian. Today's secularism is another matter. Hindu cultures on the other hand have contributed litte or nothing to the development of science which took place in judaeo-christian western europe over the last 500yrs. The growth of science occurred in w, europe not India.

Great testimony, brother. I was brought up in a Sikh family and history, but read the Bible and my heart was opened with Jesus' words, as no one spoke like him. Amen, only Jesus can wash away our sins and you made the most important decision of your life in accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Now, I recommend getting plugged into a godly church, learn and study the word, study the coptic gospels and see why they are false and ask God to show you his will for your life.

Gosh you dint know that!! Read Gospel of Thomas this was found only 65years ago in Nag hammadi in Egypt!! There are around 30 gospels and only 4gospels made it to the new testament. The east believes in Pantheism(Which means everything is God) polytheism is just a byproduct of this!!
I highly recommend you to read the rejected gospels!!
During the 3rd century AD Emperor Constantine asked his clergy men to compile one compressed book and thats todays bible!!

They weren't exactly rejected; The Apocrypha were books that most Christian Churches believe are not divinely inspired. It doesn't make them any less important or useful, just less known today than canonical books.
According to the Church (RC), they are just as authentic as the four canonical Gospels, but they were not inspired by God, that's all.

Actually r4rasa does not really know what he is talking about. He is spouting half truths. In actual fact the Gospels as we know them we listed as early as 96ad and listed also by Ireneaus in 160ad the entire NT was listed by latest early 200's. (also Muratorian a little later)
The 'gospel of thomas' was written in coptic by gnostics trying to put gnosticism into Christianity. It was rejected out right and fraudulent in its authorship.

no, friend. there were false Gospels penned by different authors a bit later than the Biblical Gospels, claiming Apostolic authorship, but which were unreliable historically, generally later than Apostolic, and doctrinally incorrect, which were wisely and obviously not included in the Bible, when it was cannonized.

@graceinmay Yes there were those ones, there were also some that were written around the time of the ones that made the cannon but the majority of the Christians who helped with the Cannon thought they didn’t deserve to be there or were too different.

@arandomguy07 yes sir, the council of Nicaea in 325 AD- a group of 300+ people sat down and decided which books showed the good side of their savior and scrapped the ones that told a different perspective. The books they kept are the Canon.

@CAMisMissing Misinformed! They had good reason for choosing the books that they did: (1) Apostolic authority; (2) Early authorship; (3) Reasonableness. Even secular scholars date the cannon Gospels from between 60 - 90 AD; Paul's letters predate these; Paul's creed in I Corinthians 15 that containt orthodox Christian doctrine predates even his letters. So, you have the orthodox gospel being preached right on top of the actual event--in the lifetime and location of eyewitnesses.
