  • Wait... Natzis are holding offices? How come America fights terrorism outside it's borders but, ignores the worser threat on the inside.

  • The statement "Billions of People can't be wrong" is a fallacy. Your presentation does a great job in explaining a successful Sales Strategy indirectly. Think of how Obama got elected.

    Well done!

  • @motnasia

right, I explain that billions of people CAN be wrong.

  • You always speak the truth my brother!

  • Billion Chinese did choose Communism and let 35 million of their own starve to death. Hopefully this century all socialist movements can end.

  • @Brantoc

Billions choose Islam and Christianity responsible for millions of deaths each. Maybe we can end those too.

  • I'm commenting solely to point out that you have created one of the most lucid, mature, and informing videos I have seen in some time. Excellent work.

  • @SirLoin21

that is one hell of a compliment. Remarks like these are why I continue to make videos.

    Thank you.

  • The Party for Socialism and Liberation is the most active party out there, or at least one of the most active. They must have had like 5,000 people in DC on the March 20 protest.

I agree that more action needs to be taken. Dragging people into study groups to talk about theory and the past isn't a good idea. You learn and develop theory through practice. Without practice, there can be no theory. Do something. Online, offline. Something.

  • Hard to dop anything when the police just call you a terrorist when you do.

  • i agree completely that the left is full of intellectual pansies who sit on their ass and think that a bunch of talk is going to accomplish something. One thing you have to give the right is they ACT. They do not allow minor differences among the rank and file to prevent what they believe to be the greater good. Too bad the Marxists cannot seem to do anything more than flap their gums.

  • "A man who stands for nothing, will fall for anything." - Malcolm X

  • As Orwell said, "He wondered, as he had many times wondered before, whether he himself was a lunatic. Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one."

  • I love your videos man. Keep it up.

  • As usual MP, awesome video.

  • I agree with everything you said on this video. I think the difficulty we face is that we in the debate group are very scattered geographically and only come together online. I view YT as a place where ideas can be propagated, not as an organizing center (unless a major demonstration is coming up). I have been the lone leftist organizer before - I started an anti-war group at my college right after 9/11. What role do you think the debate group can play in facilitating political action?

  • @binhthanhvo

Good question and points. I'm with you in that us being dispersed geographically is an obstacle, but what we're looking at is perhaps finding common ground that we can work with locally. This variety in location can work to our advantage, as we can have members all across the place, but it will ultimately be up to them to build the movement for their location. I can say that if it wasn't for the people I've met there, I'd still be idle. I'm ready to get active again. That's good!

  • @malignantpoodle I've written some organizing handbooks and whatnot that could be generally applied to other issues (starting a local immigrants rights or gay rights group, for example). Revolutionaries in the U.S. are in a situation where 1) many are not in an organized party and operate as individuals and 2) local struggle is almost nonexistent. So we're trying to party build AND launch/intervene in struggles alongside non-communist people/forces. It's very difficult.

  • @malignantpoodle One thing that should be considered is urging comrades to join whatever local party/group is around and build political relationships through that group, even if they disagree with certain elements of their politics, and keep an open mind and an open hand to people in other groups. If there is no party or group, it might be best to pick an issue and try to build one from scratch. This is where having clear politics and a united front method is really, really key...

  • Very valid points. It is not the size of the flock, but the greatness of the leading sheep.

  • @ManicStreetStevO

You're not loading down the thread at all. You've got a lot of good points to make and YT is so limited :)

First I appreciate the compliments, but even more I appreciate that you and I see the same issue here. I can say at this point that there are people clamoring for a new left movement, and a handful that are trying to make that work. I'll send a PM later with more details on this.

  • Strange... you had some serious things to say about him earlyer.. Told ya he's a good guy.

  • @nightcrowred

? Not sure what you mean

  • @malignantpoodle Check your e-mail.

  • "Vox populi".

If the first word started with a 'P', it might help to dispel the acceptance of the falsehood that if something is popular, it must be right.

  • Very well articulated and a call to action.

    I totally support this.

  • @NwZ2

    Thanks a bunch.

  • Hmmm.. thoughts... I'll have to tell you later though.. tooooooo sleepy..
