  • i love this i ate it in vietnam for two months..expensive but very tasty

  • Thse are all young trees. I grew up in a pltation with mgsteen, durian rambutan and other trpical fruits. All fruit trees were old, some even 50-60 yrs old, fruits were much bigger(as big as tennis ball). During my young dys, it was all-day-long eating fruits during season. It bears fruit twice yrly almst synchronise wit durian and rambutan comes almost the same time. Old trees has potential of more than 2k fruits per season. tastiest mgsteens r not when they r ripe but when there r still green

  • Where else besides the Philippines and

  • This fruit was 1st founded in Indonesia.

  • The mangosteen is difficult to grow if the environment is not humid and tropical. That's why it does well in Southeast Asia. Thailand and Vietnam grow these as well. It's been tried in the US but not successful.

  • Thailand,India,Cambodia,Some parts of Africa and central america they have it

  • @methodistgirl indonesia.

i was there for 3 months, you could buy a whole shopping bag full for $3.50 U.S.

this fruit really is the best thing i have ever tasted.
