The West created Hitler. After WW I, the onerous conditions in Germany were so bad I'd be surprised if Hitler wasn't brought about. The Wiemar Republic was a disaster.

Nobody has to agree with everybody about everything they say to see that some people are exceptionally intellegent, and respect and admire them for that. And that's how I have always felt about Buchanan. I saw him for the first time in the mid-eighties, when I was fifteen or so, at the JFK Auditorium in Boston, and he just stood out as a speaker and an analytical commentator. Agree with him on everything? Of course not; I'm no "dittohead" type. But, I like his straightfoward style. Always have.
