i hope this is helpful for those who, like me are crazy enough to actually try this.

after much struggling with this i finally figured it out. first fold it in 1/4s then fold the top left corner down to the top fold, so it is close to what you would get if you folded 2 the centre diag. as always repeat on other side. then you open the flaps, and reverse fold the 1/4 line and create a new crease. then fold in 1/2, and fold back where not doubled. then repeat on the 1/2 of the just made flap.

damn 709 pieces.... shit... the most pieces i made was like 305 and that was to do a golden venture origami of a swan. That took me at least a day and a half to do. however you must really have no life if you made that many.It was interesting though.
