The Ramones are my favorite band, but I have to say that Kiss really owned this song. That being said, I don't think Paul Stanley sang it as well as Joey Ramone. But overall, Kiss really gives this song an appropriate epic feel. I think this shows, if anything, that a band like Kiss would have been much better suited to being produced by Phil Spector than the Ramones. But again, I've heard Kiss try to cover some Ramone songs, and they didn't pull it off like they did here.
