  • ahhhhh we did pretty well without your saw... So it's a Stupid American saw you're selling right?

  • hello mr. Cosman am a big fan of their knowledge and skills, but has little time to follow his site would be extraordinary to include subtitles in Spanish as the language I speak and I'm sure there are many fans in the world who speak the same language thousand thanks for your videos. and greetings

  • The set is .002 per side and the face angle of the small starter teeth is 14, the larger teeth 0.

  • Hi rob

Could u please tell me the set and face angles of the teeth.

    Cheerss

  • You have tried it and it didint work or are you making a judgement call from a safe distance?

  • The cost is just ridiculous. Jap dovetail saws are just as good and way cheaper.

  • @lucydiamonds7 eastern maple and other harder woods eat japanese saw teeth as do knots.. they are only good for medium to soft woods.. good western saws will last a lifetime japanese saws will not so the value is there.. I won't even mention sharpening a japanese saw properly, it's a much steeper learning curve if you master it at all hence the "replacement blades"

  • Need to read a bit more, saws are $295.00.

  • your saw are nice yes but there way over price same saw on lee nelsons webiste for 100 bucks not some redickuless 695 wont even think about buying your saw thx for the wasted 5 minutes

  • nice video dude...a two level introduction...It seems loke the saw is made of strong materail that will last further than a life time :0

  • @7199715 Get an old spear and jackson at a car boot for £2 or on ebay for about £10 and see just how well they work. Some are over 100 years old and still have a few decades worth of cutting left...

  • Your business is really wonderful and great person you are you deserve

I learned a lot from you

    Ragheb

  • hey Rob I want one of your saws but $695! EEEEEEEEK Oh I see Woodcraft has it for $250

  • Hi rob i want one of your saws, but i am from chile, do you ship internationally?

  • Did I really hear you say the back is riveted to the blade? It should just be pinched tightly, to make it possible to remove the blade (or even replace it) in the event of buckling. Hence some of the old saws seem to be deeper at one end than the other, as the craftsmen over the years adjusted the blades. The other points about weight, I like.

  • Now we don't allow bench-lollers in our workshop. Fire the little guy! :)

    Thanks Rob.

  • hi just had to say love your dvds ive got the hand cut dove tail 1 it took a bit of time but can now cut good dovetails thanks

  • we ship anywhere you like!

  • Thank you Rob for kind and great tutorials!

Also your son is very nice!

Do you sell your tools in Israel?
