  • 1:08 NEVER drive ANY motorized 2-wheeled vehicle in the snow, since the road grip turns from very good to very deadly.

  • @JonAxDrayda thanx 4 the advice

  • @JonAxDrayda fuck you here in finland there is only snow and our school is full of moped that was just very bad driving snow isnt dangerous at all

  • @TheFVFforever It is a known fact that driving in the snow with any 2-wheeled, motorized vehicle is dangerous. The snow gets stuck in the tires' grooves, which are there for the grip, and thus the grip totally gets lost. Period.

Also, snow that has been driven on turns into ice. Again; Period.

My father once drove a 200cc scooter through the snow, and he fell over while he nearly stood still; the tires lost their grip, and his feet simply slipped on the ground.

    Oh, yeah: fuck yourself.

  • @JonAxDrayda fuck you learn to drive like finnish guys ;) and thats why are invented pins so you can drive snow 50km/h without falling and ice is the best easy to make donuts you loser ^^

  • @TheFVFforever Pinned moped tires or chains for moped tires are expensive and forbidden in most countries, so don't bring up that fact.

I already have learned to drive a moped, and I drive for over 2 years now - I'm more skilled than any moped driver where I live.

But most people aren't stupid enough to drive a moped on snow or ice, here. Everyone avoids it - like me.

And both snow and ice are still very dangerous to drive on. Period.

And, by the way, fuck yourself - again.

  • @JonAxDrayda are you fucking kidding :O i have pins in my moped and it cost only 100e.

its not stupid to drive in snow because its not dangerous do i fucking need to do moped video to show that its very fun and easy omg -.-. i dont know where you live but in Finland winter is 3kk-4kk so its long time and i drive that whole time in snow without falling ;) i have enduro+ winter wheels+ pins but i have supermoto too...

  • @JonAxDrayda

Nah, it just need an correct attitude into driving and experience driving over snow/ice.

Atleast I used to drive moped all around years on summer and winter to get into work and home.

  • @MkkMhs I won't even try driving in snow, because I need to uphold 200 kgs of weight - me included - when driving. It's quite the workout driving a 120kg moped.

Plus, when they clear out the roads here, the snow get pushed onto the bicyclist's path (required to drive on by law). That would make it even harder to drive; the snow becomes half a meter high.

In Belgium, (nearly) no mopeds or motorcycles are seen during the winter - because of snow/ice, and also because of the cold.

    SORRY, I RANT

  • @JonAxDrayda

Yeah I understand.I used to drive Suzuki PV, small moped weighting 60kg if I remember right. It's rarely but on every winter still seeing some who driving with Suzuki Pv or Honda monkey at winter.

In finland we got alot mirror-ice, snow lumps on both asphalt and gravel. Driving on gravel at winter is sometimes difficult cause cars tyres causes grooves on ice and moped slides on them.

Last winter I stopped driving on winter because cold air caused unable to walk without sticks.

  • @JonAxDrayda

bah im from norway i do wheelies on ice!

  • @emptii94 And I'm from Belgium; I don't dare get on ice.

  • @JonAxDrayda

    u should, good fun =D

  • @emptii94 And I won't, since I'm scared of going on it. =O

  • MO(tor)PED(al) =)

  • 50ccMopeds > ".. Can you spot the one that isnt a moped? .."

Actually, there are several (scooters, dirt bikes, etc). A moped is a motorized bicycle which can be pedaled (why "ped" is in the name) or driven by a low-powered gasoline engine (the "mo" part of the name). Thus, any without pedals are not mopeds. Okay, did I win any prize? ;)

  • @stewartx5 your prize is a thumbs up :)

  • @stewartx5 A moped is a bike with an engine size 50cc or nunder.

  • @XbOxToMm

LOL. Silly discussion. Anyway, the word "moped" is a contraction of the words "motor" and "pedal," meaning the vehicle has both. Some vehicle operating agencies or laws place small scooters, bicycles with electric motors attached, and similar under the same category as mopeds, but that doesn't change what they actually are (scooters, bicycles, mopeds, etc).

  • @stewartx5 If you want to be picky a moped is a basically a bike with an engine smaller than 50cc and is restricted to 31mph. A change in the law a while back now actually states that a moped does not need pedals to be a moped, unless it was used before 1977, but you are right about ped in moped standing for pedals. So no you don't win any prize sorry :(

  • @CursedMonkey666

Which law? There are 50 states in the USA, with at least 50 laws. There are roughly 200 countries in the world, with perhaps that many or more laws. People from all those view this website. I used the decades-old definition of a moped, used throughout the English-speaking world and often elsewhere as well. However, you're certainly free to define it any way you want. I'm not going to argue endlessly about that.

  • @stewartx5 Sorry about my ignorance I am forgetting youtube is not just used by the brits, so yes we are both correct :D

  • Fell off my chair...
