  • My phiillips hd says the format us not compatible and non adjustable

  • I used a Toshiba 72 inch flat screen and all you need to do is change the screen resolution and your all set!

  • They make cords of VGA to component cables, do they work just as good?

  • do you need audio if you plan om using the tv as a monitor and use external pc speakers?

  • thank you you got right to the point

  • same tv ? vizio?

  • @1reac Yup, it's a Vizio 42", Nice call.

  • is it fine for gaming

  • but when you do this is the resolution poor or is it not affected?

  • Depends on what you're doing with it. The max resolution will be about 1024x768 which is fine for watching movies and such off your computer. It would be horrible for using as a computer screen because it just won't reach the same resolution.

  • @holograham good TVs like a Samsung LE40B530 has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080... That should solve that problem right ?

  • @holograham I hook my basic computer screen plug into the PC outlit on my t.v, it still does not work? i do not have an audio cord but i don't think that would effect it would it? please help me. I have a Samsung 50 inch plasma, if that helps.

  • actually i want at least a 15-20 ft cable. anyone of the examples he gave me will work (except the vga cord) for UNDER 50$

    cuz i saw a 700$ hdmi cord...
