I remember seeing this trailer in a theatre before the movie's release. I mean how could one watch this and then not absolutely go see the the film? Brilliant! Delicatessen, a must see before you die!
i wrote a paper once about the use of sound, rhythm in the film. i dream sometimes i'm making those noisemakers in a factory of endless layers. a favorite film...great in every way...fun, dynamic.
I so prefer this to Alen Resurrection. Mind you, I prefer scabies more than Alien Resurrection. Wonder if the fools in Hollywood will ever get round to remaking this?
@Gabemac916 The two directors that made this also made City of Lost Children. One of them, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, also directed Amelie as well. Both are of similar style.
@Gabemac916 The director is Jean-Pierre Jeunet. He's the same guy who made Amelie (one of the more mainstream French films of the last decade or so), A Very Long Engagement, City of Lost Children and also Alien: Resurrection.

So funny. I remember that scene was on a trailer on the video of My Own Private Idaho. That was back in the day! Around 92 I think.

Man I loved this movie. Also, anyone else notice that these sort of rhythmic sex scenes seem to be a signature of the director?
