I had some trouble with my r4card too. the screen just said "loading" and nothing would load. I watched this tutorial to make sure I was doing it right, and it turns out I was. the reason it gets stuck like that is there are either too many games in the folder, or the rom is too big.

@zunetehh Well, I think the original r4ds does not support sdhc. So, that may be your problem, or you may be using the wrong r4 card. Try using a regular micro sd card and see if that works.

don't get this card. It might be the original, but the software team no longer exists. If you don't believe me, go to their website and look at the last update. It was in 2008.

All the new cards are clones but they work just fine. I have an R4i Gold from R4ids.cn and it works like a charm even if it is a clone. Besides, the software team is constantly upgrading their software. I recommend the R4i SDHC (red) or the R4i Gold

Can someone help me out here

I have a R4 SDHC with a 16GB micro SD card. I fomatted the card to MS-DOS (FAT32).

I followed all his steps but when I turn the ds on all i get is two white screen with a red Menu ?

Why do I need to do to get this to work properly?

@NicholasActor1998 Yes i should but if it dosn't you can buy one (must be micro SD) then format it (right click the usb the select format) Format it to Fat 32 download the new firmware and copy it on download games and your done :)
