And the way I see it, the most dangerous thing about football is that you can get tackled in the air from behind, leaving you with no chance to land on your feet. I've played both as a Prop and League is hands down harder. When you get a penalty in League the other side is super agro and gets a chance to smash you, in Union you just pop over a goal. Union avoids confrontation everywhere except the scrum.
whessly have you ever played either before if so where? I have and league is tougher and smarter. Watching union these days its a game of penalty goals (Wilkinson and carter), in league you only have 6 goes at it. Union is unlimited, so if sides arent a close match its one-sided and dull.

I've played both as a Prop and League is hands down harder. When you get a penalty in League the other side is super agro and gets a chance to smash you, in Union you just pop over a goal. Union avoids confrontation everywhere except the scrum.

whessly have you ever played either before if so where? I have and league is tougher and smarter. Watching union these days its a game of penalty goals (Wilkinson and carter), in league you only have 6 goes at it. Union is unlimited, so if sides arent a close match its one-sided and dull.

One good thing about that fantastic contest between Australia and Namibia when the Wallabies just got up 142-0 was that it was played on the Adelaide Oval better known for Cricket and the aussies got off to a flyer losing no wickets for 142 runs lol Genuine world cup hahahahahahaha

10 countries and at least we didn't see any 142-0 scorelines like the Rugby Yawnion cup does.The final of this world cup was far better than any kickathons witnessed at most yawnion world cups.How many tries were scored in the last RWC final,none from memory but then again i did fall asleep watching it.

well, if you care more about the score line than the contest, league is definetly for you. maybe they can make the game evan more simple and take away even more of the competion, then you would get even more tries. dosn't exactly make it any more interesting does it, well maybe for those amused by simple things.

@nelatahilanu Samoans will always come out better than tongans.............you just have to look at the amount of Samoan players in the All blacks. The only good Tongan player in rugby history is Jonah Lomu who was replaced at wing by Tana Umaga when he joined the all blacks. There are heaps of outstanding Samoan players in rugby, too many to name.

i really wish rugby was bigger in the US. i play for my high school and its not considered a sport. we are a rugby football club and we get no funding from the school. :[ it really sucks.
my parents asked me if when choosing a collage if they have a rugby team will that matter to me...i was like uhm yeaaa duhhh. have you noticed how im in love with it and how it has taken over my life???.
