I never knew it was about AIDs. I thought she fell in love with this guy and because he was gone the next day she couldn't move on.... I don't know why, but I guess the AIDs makes sense.
My cousin is dying of AIDS and I had to over hear it from my mom, but she won't ever tell me I always have to listen in. Good luck Ron I love you and fight to stay alive.
@sambutler12 I also know someone who has AIDS and in some respect his fight against it is beautiful. I learned alot from him and he's like a close uncle to me. I love you uncle Mike and don't forget not to give up. LOL sincerely, J.T.
@lilwvgal69 Sorry . Its daunting to understand why many good people die so young. How You keep his memory alive like this is important. Nobody wants to be forgotten. I knew a man a friend of the family who died of Aids when I was a teenager. It was really scary because he was full of life in '95 and gone in '96. Anthony R.I.P.

I heard this song when it first came out and I went throw a very bad time with someone Thank god I never cought aids but the man I met on a one night stand was named John and a one night stand lasted a lot longer. He was abusive and hurt me very bad so I use to listen to this song and it still to this day makes me cry.
i was havin a confursation wit my mom on wat is the sadest song she heard and she said this is 1 of them and then i asked her wat it meant and after she told me i wanted to listen to it and now i wana cry
I heard it when she sang it on Oprah so many years ago. It was considered brave then to Awaken people to the reality of AIDS and how it occurs even in the slightest of a moment. I was a teenager then. The song so beautiful and Truthful and it wrenches my Soul every time. Thanks for posting:).
