@alelrickun in a nut shell there is a man named the millenium earl using living weapons called akuma to try and wipe out humans akuma are souls of humans called back to life by a loved one once called back they are the earls slave and kill humans to get stronger. The exorcists stand against the using something called innocence they kill the akuma and allow the trapped souls to go to heaven the story focuses on Allen Walker a 15 year old I know my summary sucked I tried not to spoil anything.

OMG, same here. I read manga and most people around me are like "What is that?" I know the anime/manga community is big, but I guess i'm not in the right place. :(

But there are always a few people who like the stuff, but keep quiet about it. You just have to find them! :) I know how you feel though.

i know how you feel. when i was homeschooled i felt i was alone in loving anime/manga. but i went to public school and i found that there was more than i thought. and more people referenced anime than the people who satyed behind from school for anime club. until then i survived by chating online.
