Who are you trying to convince? This project isn't going to create jobs worth a shit..The only people to benefit are going to be the low-life developers and this clown who's in there back pocket
Im all for building and getting new projects up and running.
The only question I have is about the talk I hear of there being a new sports stadium being build in this area.
I want to know if there is enough parking and is there a major freeway very close to the stadium?
I dont have any problem with the idea of a new stadium, but you have to have enough parking or you are just going to tick-off everyone who lives down there.
and a freeway next to a stadium helps move people.

Who is getting this property, some special interests or is it being auctioned to some local businesses to develop?

Yeah, right a stadium??? I'd like to see the Webster Tube after a game, it would take an hour to get into Oakland.

The worst thing you can do is build a monster stadium and then not have enough parking, or not have a freeway to get on and off close by.
If the thing holds 70,000 people then have that many parking spots in the lot.
You cant put a stadium right next to where people live or where they work because people will be parking in yards and driveways.
And without a freeway handy you are asking people to drive in city streets and neighborhoods to get to a ball game.
That is asking for trouble.
