Dave! Are you sure? I know Dave plays acoustic piece in Ice cream man, but it's very simple. This introduction has Eddie's swing, palm mute and other tricks... and I can't belive Dave has this guitar skills. I saw Van Halen in 1983, São Paulo, Brazil, all the 3 days, and Dave used acoustic guitar only in Ice cream man. Could you check this?

NO, dudes...Dave did not play the acoustic intro to this song...Eddie played it. The only two songs Dave played guitar on for Van Halen was the acoustic intro to Ice Cream Man on their first album Van Halen, and the rhythm guitar part on Could This Be Magic from their 3rd album Women and Children First.
