@mutahar5 I wouldn't say the xbox copies nintendo as much as it copies the ps2/ps3's eye toy but I really don't see any other choice microsoft might have had. I don't know how to explain it but the other systems were getting to the point of hands-free gaming and I guess the kinect is xbox's way of getting in on the game.

I'll have to admit, kinect looks fun, especially when I saw that kid driving a car, I imagined it for a second I was like OMG! that should feel awesome.
looks amazing. so does the playstation move. wii si definitely gonnna need to step it up, but hey, it can't do it right away considering that microsoft and sony gave nintendo a surprise attack with their new motion sensing gadgets. Wii's motion sensing i feel is lagging at times and that can be annoying when fighting a boss or something. i'm no fanboy, all the motion sensing gadgets for the consoles are badass. :)

Kinect is NOT a Ps2 Eye Toy add on. it's much more advanced. Kinect can detect body motion in 3 dimensions.

looks amazing. so does the playstation move. wii si definitely gonnna need to step it up, but hey, it can't do it right away considering that microsoft and sony gave nintendo a surprise attack with their new motion sensing gadgets. Wii's motion sensing i feel is lagging at times and that can be annoying when fighting a boss or something. i'm no fanboy, all the motion sensing gadgets for the consoles are badass. :)

Overly exaggerated fake smiles creep me out. They're really trying to create a cult out of a camera. Too many girly games meaning this is purely aimed at casuals. Nothing was faked this time in the trailer but less technically advanced demos were shown.
Hopefully Kinect will be able to detect objects you may like to hold such as a tennis racket. Bill Gates once envisioned this whilst sitting with Steve Jobs in an interview.

its not as if sony did this years ago on ps2 or anything.... cough....... aniways ive had xbox for years, had multiple rrod's and had to return/rebuy the console 3 times. im not gonna fork out $150 for somethin that'll just flop on it's face. im now a huge fan of ps3, and with ps move comin for just $30 ( or near that amount ) ive sold my xbox and all games to buy a ps3 slim. cant wait till september!

See, the Wii is for family game playing, people who like classic style video games, and Nintendo fanboys. XBOX is for gamer types who love first-person shooters and online games. Kinect MIGHT hurt Wii sales only because it's newer, but Nintendo is far from fucked.

i believe ps3 has more potential to the core gamer yet it can also reach out to the casual gamer my only problem with kinect it doesent reach the core gamer more like the casual gamer because ps3 has things coming out for move like resident evil socom 4 killzone 3 and kinect is really good but more kid and family games for the casual gamer so if i would rate it would be

Kinect is NOT a Ps2 Eye Toy add on. it's much more advanced. Kinect can detect body motion in 3 dimensions.

I really think this is just to much moving for me, not that I'd be lazy, but that's to much! On top of that, I'm not even sure, if I could play in my smal room. :(
I don't mean to bash, but in my opinion all the Kinect games they showed at e3 where lame Wii and Eyetoy adaptation. Maybe they are better with kinect, but there is nothing new about games like kinect sports....not even the name. I'm disapointed by Microsoft, the could do so much better! Well probalby they will...sometimes.
