Werdum will be scared , so first move will be from Roid , maybe kicks/punches from distant.Werdum cannot kick/punch defence standing so he will try to go to the ground with Roid on top and work from guard.Roid will not go to the ground easy , he will ask Werdum to stand up but if they go to the ground Roid will be the most tight opponent Werdum ever faced.The best that Werdum might do is loosing by desision with a messed up face.Roid will play safe in any case.

Overeem is the current K1 kickboxing GP champ..His overall striking is far better than Dos Santos...I think Cain's stand up is not far from Jr either..Dos Santos is mainly boxing where Overeem has more complete striking skills..Not sayin Dos Santos couldnt ko either guy, anything can happen but on paper Overeem is on another level...Kharitonov striking is just as good if not better than JR's as well.

IMO even though everyone says that Werdum needs to train with bigger guys in striking, he is getting used to faster guys and may be using this type of training to outmaneuver Overeem in the standup. Overeem definitely doesn't have the speed to match these guys. I think Werdum needs to train with a blend of small fast guys and bigger guys who still have good speed and big power so he won't be surprised or shocked when he gets hit by Overeem.

@chuey1988 A BJJ outmaneuvering a K1 champion on his feet. Don't get me wrong I like suprises, but I don't see it happening. Overeems stand up reaction speed and movement is one of the best in MMA heavyweight division. Look at some of his videos, the way he anticipates, the movement and counter punches.

Fabricio has a good oppurtunity to win. Alistair is not invincible, but I am quite sure his chances to win are not good in a standing fight.
