Well, I guess they felt that PilotWings didn't have enough content for a first party Wii game, so they included this with Wii Sports Resort.

Oh, when I say "first party" I mean "developed solely by Nintendo". A first party game is something like most Mario games and nearly all Zelda games.

No, he's right. He's talking about "Wii Sports Resort", the new game to use the Wii Motion Plus add-on. Check out the trailers from this game and you will see this exact same sequence where you control a red bi-plane.

No, because three years ago Wii Sports came out and Resort wasn't even started. How could this be footage from a game before anything was made?

It must have been dropped from Wii Sports (or possibly some other game) and then added into Wii Sports resort then... but it's the same plane and the same island as in Resort.
