Laying it on YouTube forces you to go to their concert with a freaking sick power even if you're on the other side of the globe:) I don't think they should bother of CD's much.
@Xziz10ths It was invented late 60's... It's a form of music and a lifestyle. That I follow to heart. And yes I know what you mean. I just enjoy being correct
Yeah JP is a great guy and so tallented. If more people brought the CD then maybe one day we would see him on MTV...its about time they got some good shit on there
Seriously, i cannot believe all the money which is involved in the music industry and yet my favorite band is only a step up from being a bedroom producer lol....everything JP does is genius
The JP calls the bands style "Hardclash". They combine a lot of differing styles together.
Including Black metal, Hardcore punk, metalcore, indie rock, Industrial metal, digital hardcore, electropunk , Dance-punk,Drum and bass, Jungle, Gabber, Techno Trance,Hip hop and New wave.
So any attempt at labeling them just seems pointless and silly.
Woah. Sure are some dense people in here. Lolita Storm and Atari Teenage Riot are "digital hardcore". Akira Death are digital hardcore. Pretty much anything on "Digital Hardcore Recordings" is-- owait. Seriously people, compare these and listen for the difference. This isn't digital hardcore, this is nu-metal with electronic influences. As embarrassing as it is to admit that.
Then again, since the band has (had?) two members, the live shows are probably presented in a similar fashion as DHR.
Seriously though, Rabbit Junk is not Digital Hardcore, in the purest definition of the genre. Ambassador 21 is a good example of what digital hardcore truly is.
love how you didn't use reply this time because you obviously never had any arguments to begin with ;)
i explained already why distortion is an electronic trait - learn to read
Drum loops are obviously not a major feature of electronica as you find drum patterns in EVERY music that features drums. There's also LIVE drum and bass just in case you wanted to argue that a drum machine is
this song features nu metal faggotry
just stick to your assfucking you couldn't take real DHC anyway
My frien Kai got a hollywood undead album and warped all the song soff it and put this whole album over it then lended it to a dick named will :L and he was so retarded...
couldnt tell the differnce adn was singing these lyrics and telling everyone its hollywood undead...:L
i can find no core in this song at all.. this sound is what i would expect from nu metal bands like limp bizkit it's pretty much the same (check brake stuff lol)
and electronica? ö.O well if you want to call this tiny bit of distortion electronica well then there it is..
though this stuff is not even close to Atari Teenage Riot or anything else released by the early DHR label (like Ec8or Lolita Storm etc..)
Drum loops and synthetic sounds are electronic. And this song features both of these things. Also, this genre is referred to widely as "Digital Hardcore" which is very much what it is.
Also, why would you call distortion an electronic trait? You obviously don't really know what you're talking about.
You state that you refuse to argue after beginning to argue? Fucking derr.
Also, while distortion is achieved through electronic means it is not a major trait of ELECTRONICA which is what you stated. A lot of the things Rabbit Junk does IS.
Also, this is off topic but it bothers me. Why did you capitalize the word "garage" and leave all the proper letters without capitalization?
What the hell does a synthesizer have to do with distorted guitars? Not to mention you were arguing that this is NOT electronica because all it has for electronica traits is distortion, which is not only entirely untrue but fails to stay on topic of electronica.
That is a problem when all idependent sources of cd's have been forced out of business by the likes of HMV and Virgin thus stopping me getting the album because it wouldnt make them enough profit.
@cthulufunk You do realize that artists make very little money on their CD's right? Most of an Artists income comes from Royalties and Shows....right?
yea it's true, they get about 1 dollar per CD if they're on a major label, but it's sure better to make some money from CD's than to loose money when fuck heads download it free off the internet.
@EtherPilot correct. That is the case NOW. Actually, even that may now be a stretch to claim now. Thing with music biz is by the time you think you've figured it out, you're behind. If on a MAJOR label, one gets a pittance for CDs, but smaller labels, it's a bit different. But most the smaller labels are folding. It's the issue of signal to noise. With the advent of home recording advances, mp3 file sharing, etc...are good sides, and some very bad ones too. Artist+income..does not compute.
@cthulufunk Who fucking buys cds? That technology is redundant and to expensive. Most of the money you pay is for the plastic and labels then the actual music.
@DemonAMVs i buy cds and it actully gives money to bands like rabbit junk who needs it , also its owning a piece of music art, for someone who apprecites music alot i buy cds
@sickjh I am not saying Pirate there music you dip. I am saying most of these bands have a internet site or itunes which you can buy there music without having to A. Pay for the physical disk, B. Shipping C. The ontop prices when you buy from the middle man (A.K.A) CD stores. Atleast buying from there site you know nearly %100 is going to them not only the %10 ish.
@sickjh No it makes a bunch of middle men richer and doesn't help the band at all. I think they appreciate you enjoying there music more then wasting your money on digital medium that makes some guy rich that doesn't have to do anything.
His voice is in the way of the awesome music

*selfquote* -well if you want to call this tiny bit of distortion electronica well then there it is..-
this is what i posted learn to read
synthesizers do nothing else than taking a basic sound and change its shape which is the same as distortion
as i said there is a small amount of distortion in this song but the sounds are still almost completely basic
Go back to your Rockmetalfag friends where distortion means noise
don't ever use the words Digital Hardcore again
