If you have ever been to a popular rock/ hard rock concert you know what i mean. the type of band where there isn't moshing. when the popular band comes out, if you are in the front, you can't move, you get slammed against the front gate, and are lucky if you can breath beyond the sweat of the burly man in front of you. all you want to do is move, but it's hard enough to stand, and you can barely see the artist you paid to see. thats where mosing comes in.

There's different types of mosh pits, you can't say there's no violence. The mosh pits I've been are where you let your aggression out by throwing people around and just go nuts. I've thrown people around all the time moshing, and everyone else does it to. Depends on your concert.
