To get better sound, plug the xbox 360 rca cables into your computer's line in (it's an adapter that should do that) and record via the line in. It will sound a lot better.

I had the same Lag problems.

Basically you have to down the Fps. Mine was at 59.96 and i lowered it to 25.32 and changed from NTSC_443 to Pal_60 and the quality was better, the colour was better and there was no lag, not the slightest.

Removing lag... firstly make sure you internet is running at its finest, check youtube update times. then quickly check video length shorten it in anyway you can (it reduces lagg) then check the videos settings and check the fps/running rate then if thats ok lagg=gone

When i was making a vid in sony vegas/ windows movie maker it laged but after it rendered it was fine
