It was sad to lose her. We never realize how hard death can be until we, the living, move through the "rights of passage" some will never have.... grad pictures, graduating, going to university, getting our license, our first car, first apartment, moving out.
A talented rider who told me once that she'd go professional when she was ready, because she already had enough points to do so at the age of 16. I hope there are horses in heaven. <3
