DAAM (dæm) in Arabic is a verb or an adjective; it means "To last for ever", while blood in Arabic is "D'M" (dʌm).

That is a big deference in pronunciation, and for a native speaker the two words would not be confused at all.

Yea I speak Arabic and Hebrew both, and I agree with you . . . the only thing I can think of is maybe in Palestinian Arabic it means "blood"? I don't speak Palestinian Arabic, only MSA and Tunisian

@jezinka0077 You are right that دم is "blood" in arabic, but they spell it دام which comes from the word دائم which means "always" or "eternity". Hebrew and Arabic are very close, and have many words in common, but in hebrew they pronounce it "dam" which means blood. it's close to the arabic word for blood but pronounced slightly different, with a longer A, which makes it sound like the arabic word for eternity.
