Vorrei comperare una jeep e non saprei quale :( Adoro la Wrangler ma mi serve anche per fare dei viaggi lunghi.. Qlc può darmi una mano o qlc consiglio?

@Swan69100 WEANGLER tutta la vita!!! ormai dentro è ai livelli di un bel suv, poi anche sicurezza attiva e passiva l'hanno migliorata molto con l'elettonica. secondo me bene anche per viaggi

Yep, it needs lockable diffs. However it's supposed to be some sort of visco-diff in the center and at least the WB-models has diffbrake in the rear, so it's not entirely useless. Seems to be getting around fine here.

I tend to leave my RAV4 at home when the snow gets too deep and take my Mitsubishi Pajero on 32" tires. The RAV4 is fantastically reliable, but unlike my Pajero ("wanker " in Spanish oddly enough) it badly needs a lockable central diff, plus the Low Ratio gearbox. And the ground clearance is naff! For fun my old Daihatsu Sportrak/ Feroza has the LWD and automatic locking hubs. Bumpy as hell, but it´s left various cross over SUV´s in the snow.

@4gricolo92 ciao, ho comprato una panda climbing con ELD (blocco diff centrale e ripartizione elettronica della trazione) e devo dire che con le sue misure ridotte ed un passo decisamente corto riesce a disimpegnarsi meglio di molti suv e anche fuoristrada ovviamente dove è la compattezza del mezzo che serve non certo la potenza che solo una jeep con riduttore può dare.

questo secondo me e da alcuni piccoli "test" che ho provato a fare (confronto con rav4).

@maxarry83 allora... io ero e lo sono ancora innamorato del vecchio panda 4x4 xk era veramente molto bello.. cioè un pò rozzo ma multiuso... starei cercando un'auto per me da prendermi tra un pò di tempo dopo aver preso la patente... e non so se prendere una normale o una col 4x4 inseribile... in ogni caso la cercavo un peletto alta da terra appunto per usarla in montagna.. però deve avere pure un pò da baule xk ho un husky cucciolo da portarmi con me

@4gricolo92 anche a me piaceva molto il vecchio panda ma da usare tutti i giorni era un po scomodo, se ti posso consigliare ci sono due modelli che potrebbero andare bene a te, uno è la panda adventure (per usi più "rozzi") con interni lavabili molle rinforzate etc... l'altro modello è la nuova dacia duster, ottimo compromesso fra prestazioni e risparmio (anche se quella diciamo normale 4x4 ti costa sui 17.000 e non 11.000 come la pubblicizzano).

@maxarry83 beh si... però la dacia non mi piace molto come casa automobilistica... e ho i miei motivi che nn ti sto qui a spiegare... il panda "nuovo" ho quello a metano... e poi ho pure quella vecchia di panda... e a livello di baule quella del 2000 ne ha molto di +... come confort meglio quella nuova però se si è in 4 quelli dietro ci stanno veramente molto stretti...

wow man, without a locking diff the thing sucks. i have one but now i know not to go offroading with it, that barely made it though that crawling stuff, u had to have good momentum. in 4 low with my durango, i can go half a km/h over that stuff steadily with ease. get a locker!

@mudinatvrid3r I agree. I really like these RAV4s, but they look stupid in this situation. 4 wheel drive is great, but just transfering all the drive to the front or rear slipping wheels instantly cuts it to 2 wheel drive! So to sum up, RAV4 = full-time 4 wheel drive untill you really want it!

Very nice! I love my 1999 RAV4. I plan on buying a newer one, probably a 2003 or 2005, sometime down the road. Great little vehicles.
