Wish I wouldn't have blown my fuse in my sega cd right when I got it from ebay ughhhh. I bought Night trap and Double switch mainly because I have not played them since back in 94-95 and they are sitting on my shelf waiting for the day I have a sega cd to play them on again. @CitroenC407 One of the best games of all time in my opinion, I was about 6 or so when it came out and it is as fun as it looks.The whole point is to set traps and catch the guys lurking around the house before they capture the girls and take their blood. This use to scare the bejesus out of me back then. There is another game called Double Switch which is identicle to the gameplay except it stars corey haim(you know LUCAS) and your in his hotel which you have to help him get out of the basement

A mate of my brothers had a Mega CD with this game included and my brother used to tell me it was brilliant... sadly never had a Mega CD myself though. The more I watch videos of this game, the more it looks almost revolutionary for the time. People forget these games were back in the early to mid 90's.

Originiality was massive back then... shame you don't see that anymore.

wikipedia has a good article about this LEGENDARY Sega CD,3DO,PC,and Mac game that they had hearings on video games in the US congress because this game was considered such a violent and bad game at the time... which in reality the point of the game is to stop the women from getting hurt not hurting women by trapping the marauders but the first time I heard of this game was in the early 90s on the news and it ironically sparked a LOVE of video games that has lasted to this day! .

I remember this game, actually had it. It was one of the first to use live action. It was kinda dull, and only I played it about 10 times. Looking back you could say it was ahead of it's time. Of course the government put in a rating system after this game, for a while I think it was banned. I kinda forgot what else they had available on this cd system. How about Saturn that was after this. they had so many sytems trying to survive back then.

This was actually a good game when it first came out. It was different and a new concept. You had to time when the bad guys were standing near or on a trap. The whole point was to find what room they were in and get them. I beat the game, but you couldn't trap the last guy.

I had this game and it was okay. Once u get the code for the time when to go to a room and set off the traps it was very easy. I didn't see why they banned it as it was kinda boring. There was no nudity or cursing nor violence.

first you need an emulator, looks like the guy who made the video used gens (it sucks) use kega fusion.

then grab some iso's (cd dumps of the games)

go to gamerrealm dot net to grab them.

word of warning though these are not small downloads (around 100mb-800mb depending on the game)

Yes, any cd burner will do(I.E. Nero, Alcohol).

Because CD burning wasn't as cheap or prevalent back in the early-to-mid 90s, no one ever bothered with copyright protection.

Heck you could play the original games on your computer, or the burnt ones in a sega CD.

When Sega CD really started going under you could buy Sega CD games at Toys "R" Us for like $5 a pop! I bought tons of 'em. The system truly did have some inovative and unique games. I especially enjoyed the games that had real actors in them like Sewer Shark, Wirehead, Corpse Killer, Ground Zero Texas, and Double Switch. It was a genre unto itself. They even did a few sports games in that style (Prizefighter, Scottie Pippen's Slam & Jam). Night Trap was the daddy of them all.
