I've not seen a red star like that in any lodge I've been to. Traditionally in America, it's a "blazing star" that looks like what is traditionally the emblem for the sun. It's meant to represent God, and His diffusion of light and lustre to Earth, and His benevolence, upon which man is reliant.
Other countries may represent the blazing star differently customarily, as Australia does here. Remember, if something is "blazing," it may also appear red-orange. In other words, nothing sinister here.

There is nothing satanic involved in Freemasonry. As I've learned through study, and others involved with it, Freemasonry in the this day and age, is no longer a "secret society" but rather a "society with secrets". @QuantumLeap365 : Well , a real freemason will tell you the letter G refers to God, to Geodmétry and to the GNOSE ! But it not refers at the gnostics sects. You have to know that the word 'Gnose' is a greek biblical word who mean the knowledge given bu God. Gnostics sects (who existed in 2d and 3rd century) said the Gnose was only given to initiated people in contradiction of what Jésus say in bible.

" however most of the people who are in power in the US and the world are apart of this and similar fraternities. theyre not supposesd to be discussing business, foreign policies etc but come on u really think they arent? maybe not in a meeting in front of the entire lodge, but introductions/connections are made.

I've not seen a red star like that in any lodge I've been to. Traditionally in America, it's a "blazing star" that looks like what is traditionally the emblem for the sun. It's meant to represent God, and His diffusion of light and lustre to Earth, and His benevolence, upon which man is reliant.
Other countries may represent the blazing star differently customarily, as Australia does here. Remember, if something is "blazing," it may also appear red-orange. In other words, nothing sinister here.

There is nothing satanic involved in Freemasonry. As I've learned through study, and others involved with it, Freemasonry in the this day and age, is no longer a "secret society" but rather a "society with secrets". Our rituals and rites have little to do anymore with the secret itself, they are now mostly performed out of tradition and respect for the men who came before. The ability to keep a secret is a form of character, it allows trust and brotherhood to remain in our lives.

alright... for the record... yes, there are rituals... as in any other ordinary fraternities... even nonsense gangs have rituals... with regard to religion, they worship their RESPECTIVE gods. it is a requirement. if u r a christian, u must show that you believe in God or Jesus as the case may be, for muslims, you must believe in Allah. Your faith must be evident. the reason being, Freemasonry do not accept atheist. it is the number 1 requirement.

I'm an atheist, but the mason's intrigue me greatly, I'd almost like to join them. If my information is correct, their beliefs lead straight back to enochian hebrews, whose knowledge can be traced back to the ancient pagan's of Europe. It would make sense, the greatest builders of the ancient world (stone henge), the greatest builders of the middle ages, then the greatest minds who founded the United States! Awesome!

i'll answer your question instead. just think about it. just use common sense. people who joined freemasonry weren't rily sure what it is prior to their membership. some even had doubts and hesitations arising from various silly conspiracy theories. but nevertheless, they joined. now that they're in, they realized what it's rily all about. so assuming they worship devils doing some satanic rituals which they really dreaded before joining, why didn't they renounce their membership?

if u mean by satanic rituals, rituals pertaining to the worship of a devil, then Freemasonry does not have any of these. but Freemasonry, admittedly, have rituals and rites, actually i've seen them coz i was invited to attend the induction of a most worshipful grandmaster... they do have rituals, that to many of us, will look kinda weird or even nonsense. that's because we do not really know the meaning of it. and just because we don't know it doesn't mean it's satanic...

Hi Miguel. we're not secretive but we have secrets that belong to the various degrees, just like in martial arts, a blue belt does not know the skills of a black belt. we take lessons from the ancient stone masons great building/construction techniques and apply them to our life...so Masonry teaches you to build a beautiful structure...the structure of your life..it IS your life, and the way you treat others. it's a beautiful system of growing a great life for yourself...

I visited the South Aussie Grand Lodge recently when i was there on a work trip.
I highly recommend any Brother (or anyone) go check it out. It is a wonderfully crafted building and embodies the Masonic symbolism in its design.
They have organised tours there. Call ahead to find out the days and times.
