I think they use 'thermoplastic' paint....rubberized paint strips with reflective material. Most roads in the country are either already marked with this paint, or are in the process of being marked. Most expressways and highways in Maharashtra were marked when I last visited...

There called road reflectors or cat eyes. The circular ones are bott's dots. Most expressways have them.

It isnt the Expressway but an Express highway in the heart of Mumbai's suburbs ... The actual expressway is between Mumbai and Pune - much cleaner, better, faster and more scenic

Yes my indian friend, a rare sight. You know well as me the cost is many houses pulled down, population displaced. Unfortunately you can do it only in Mumbai. While in China we do it every where.

Why? because the Brits have imposed democracy on your heads. China is not your enemy , democracy and the British, Americans are.

well not that many ppl were displaced for this stretch of road mate...it was existing road but in a very bad shape which was expanded and improved...and yes irrespective of d faults of our democracy, we still love it and yes also hate it...but we still prefer democracy to the political system of China.

its funny to hear your government told the americans in 1996: "we are the largest democracy bla bla bla ... so we have the right to test the nukes...." implying how can China test the nukes 52 times and America prohibit us to. this is about democracy in India, not America and nor its foreign policies....i reserve my judgement about america. u implied that democracy is India's enemy and i just stated it is not and that's it, you are happy with your political system and we are happy with ours, not everyone likes d samething.....and yes it was 1998 not 1996.
