  • Is bandaging not necessary when utilizing the laser?

  • Stupid North Americans You dont know how to eat right, how to dress properly and on top of that you mutilate the cats for your convinience. Such ignorant and selfish people. This obviously hurts the cat and disables it. If your facking furniture is more important buy a cat toy and put it on your perfect couch. Your life style in general and the way you treat pets disgusts the whole world.

  • why would anyone want to inflict 4th degree burns on a pet they are supposed to love and care for?

  • This is like removing a baby's eyeball. Even when deemed medically expedient, it's STILL sick and wrong to watch.

  • well, amputations in humans can lead to extrmely painful abnormal neve regrowth. so i guess in cats tachniques cannot be better than in humans. also a cat steps on his fingers...pardon, stumps

  • I've never seen such a pervert thing... bloody animal abusers!!! Taking a cat the possibility to hunt is taking away it's soul... you disgust me...

  • i'm just getting my cat's front paws declawed not the back ones, how much did this cost?

  • i have three cats and they've all been declawed. They dont seem to mind a bit, nor have they ever.

Not ever single case will lead to behavioral problems. Actually, I think when that happens, the cat was emotionally unstable to begin with.

I dont think declawing is inhumane. They must learn to live in our world if we will have them in our homes. They dont need them to hunt or fight predators. We protect them from all that. If you have an outside cat thats a different story.

  • @lishfish it PAINSdamn. very selfish of u . it puts them at risk. it is BETRAYING them. they dont need to fight,...neither they need to suffer

  • that is a WRONG laser to use on the cat - there is no distance guide (i.e. laser beam was not focused on the target!) and there was no beam-pointer visible in the video (i.e. laser beam was not on the target) - YOU JUST CANNOT USE THIS CHEAP JUNK CHINESE LASER - IT IS NOT SAFE FOR THE PATIENT.

  • Luckily this is illegal in The Netherlands, the vet (?? BAD vet then!) is giving the cat a handicap!

  • inhumane

  • no offense..but i think it's a pretty humane way to declaw the cat already (with normal anesthesia)..

declawing maybe inhumane, but the things in this video are not

  • I work in a vets office and have witinesed the procedure done here. When we do it the cat is normal in 10 minutes after the anestesea wears off.

  • very sad. people, try softpaws.

  • You would think they might even try trimming claws but no, let's mutilate the pet for our convenience.

  • Declawing is cruel enough but to do all 4 paws? Cats only scratch with their front. Without any claws is a major handicap. Like us without any toes at all.
