If you look at the only documented case of this happening, it was an unsuspecting guy given a massive dose of LSD without any knowledge of what he was taking. There's a difference between the reaction of someone being slipped a powerful mind altering drug and someone taking the drug willingly, with knowledge of what they're doing.

I also remember key points of all my salvia trips, but I couldn't always remember what I was or where I was prior to smoking salvia. While on it, only the salvia world seemed real. actually though, after reading the proper technique of smoking salvia, i got a pretty strong effect from smoking the leaves. the 20x shit was too much. for some reason i did it more than once but it wasnt enjoyable. I felt likei was stuck in a wall and it was growing through me. once it felt the same, except it was a hampster wheel. the way you smoke it WILL change its effect.
