The Japanese Sandman was written by Richard A. Whiting in 1920. Paul Whiteman's instrumental version was certainly the most well known at the time, but you can argue that the version sung by Nora Baynes was the best. In any case, it remained one of the most popular songs for years afterward.
YOU ARE A VERY GIFTED PIANO PLAYER, I COULD LISTEN TO YOU ALL DAY.THIS REMINDS ME OF MY MOTHER WHO ALSO WAS VERY TALENTED.

Major Hit by Paul Whiteman in 1920. Whispering was his first big one and this was the flip side. But you do it beautifully!

Charlie Chaplin, my bad, I was typing too fast before.
Are you doing this all from a record or practicing before hand (and then play it)?

Reminds me of a silent movie I once seen, maybe with Charlie Chapman in it. It sounds perfect man.
Why aren't you getting paid for this?
stk38349 3 years ago
Thanks. His name was Charlie Chaplin. I don't know why I am not paid for this ! LOL
