@sdfrgyh what kind of background do you want? Pink? Orange? Shiny mirror? Seriously, if the blue bothers you that much, I think you should kill yourself so you never have the chance to ever see some horrible blue background again.

I'm not a fan of Ikolas but this tank is stunning. And refering to what Ozbloke said. I think there far too many fish in there that one male could take over the whole colony

im sure you will wake up one morning as i did and find the alpha male kickn the 2ic males arse then bout 3days later find the entire colony bunched up in the top 2inches of corner of your tank,your colony may be different although i doubt it

Well i have had a group of 35 moliros that where brought up from only one couple. I also brought up a colony of 25 just from 3 moliros.

Next time i go tropheus, which are difficult yes, I'm not gonna be paranoid about needing a huge colony.

I have only had any real experience with red moliro, but i do not recognise them in the normal description of tropheus. Maybe they are different, or then this idea of keeping large groups of tropheus is the lacy-mans way.
