Just a heads up: It's "battement."
A different expertvillage employee from the filmed instructor must write these video descriptions; words borrowed from French are invariably misspelled. (I've also heard several teachers in these videos refer to balletic terms with English pronunciation, so they aren't inculpable, either.)
Regardless of orthographic or pronunciative snafus, though, these videos are a valuable service: Thank you to everyone who makes these videos possible and uploads them. <3
