among the GG men, including dan humphrey, carter is the best partner for serena. they look perfect together. they've got good chemistry just like chuck and blair. i really hope they end up with each other. carter baizen is the only male character paired off with serena that created a spark.

Umm. A lot happened since Season2. Which episode are you on? ....I don't want to spoil Season2 & S3 for you, so this explanation is taken from S1. Carter's is Serena's date to cotillion in 1.10. He's Upper East Side born & bred just like the rest of them, but he has a bit of a wild/rebellious streak like Serena. Their trip to Santorini was mentioned in 1.10 and he's a recurring character on the show.

:)) Yup!! He's in 1.04 (scenes with Nate & Chuck during Lost Weekend) and 1.10 (as Serena's date to cotillion when Dan backs out, S/Ca's history is mentioned)... Then he comes back for 3 eps in Season 2 (2.18, 2.19 and the finale when he tells S about finding her dad in Fiji).
