@alphenchick Its camoflouged look closer , its the same color as the sand there is little contrast .It is visable at times . You can look it up on wikipedia .
You might be right , but it has no tail or the 2 scooping arms by the eyes .I think its some other species .Unless the juveniles look like this .Definitely not a sting ray .

Its possible this is some fish that hides on the bottom it had no tail at all ,excellent camouflage for resting though .
