No, you cannot use this UPS. It is rated 500va / 300watt. Your 650 watt load, will either put the UPS into static bypass (no load protection), which it cannot remain in this state indefinately or shut the UPS down. Your load is too big. A generator will not help as the UPS is what is powering the load. The generator and the Utility feed the UPS through a transfer switch. Huge cost. You would need a UPS rated at 1000va with 700watt output. We use Eaton UPS systems sized and designed for our loads
u can use it as long as u have a backup power generator because I use this so that my battery on my laptop is fully charged so i will definitely recommend this product to u!
