To ProTwoAm: Maybe it's just me; but that victory march you're talking about, looks more like a column of german prisoners moving down an autobahn. But I do agree that 'chopping that scene shouldn't have been done.

I think you got the wrong episode? The victory march is in the final episode, after the defeat of Japan.

Tebok, No, I meant the victory march at the end of this particulat episode. I have the original video wherein the entire march plays through (except for the last chord or two; a major fault of the currently-available VaS boxed set and so disappointing!).
