The only thing that ruins the Trumpeter P-40's is the cockpit, it's too shallow. I wish he had used an aftermarket resin cockpit.

That guy really should have weathered the engine and cockpit. Even brand-new aircraft engines aren't that clean, especially during the '30s and '40s.

I use the thin lead that you can find on some winebottles, i make rifle straps and different kind of belts etc. Very easy material to cut and shape. I'll recommend it.
