Some readings of the Bible I have read are so cryptic and frustrating to make sense of, I think it would take the most brilliant minds to interpret what is actually being said. I think every person that reads any given passage would each have a different interpretation of it. I'm not religious by any means and approach the stories from the bible from a historical standpoint - there are some interesting stories however such as Exodus. I like all the death and destruction.
im still a little bit skeptical about the 10th plague ... why the eldest son only got effected by it? why not the daughters? or the 2nd or the 3rd eldest son .... or was this just a coisidence?
Egyptians gave double food amounts to eldest sons and livestock so those got double amounts of the toxins grown in the top layer of grain from storehouses OUTSIDE the region called Goshen where the Israelites lived. The poisonous mold came due to previous plague. Older Egyptian family members thus ate less of the poison. The Israelites were unaffected.
Wait wtf? The theory for the tenth plague only explains why the non-hebrews died however it doesn't mention anything about how the hebrews survived, what if they ate the grain???
I find the 10th plague the easiest to explain. The blood on the door would tell Moses and his men not to invade but when they find a door without blood, they break in and kill the eldest son then leg it.

To me this proves how clever God is with all of the plagues and how they're all inter connected. Which is why I praise God.
