Her family must've been so proud of her for reaching this level of success after having emigrated from Vietnam to the U.S. with hopes to make a better living and after having to basically start life all over again. It must've been tough.

10 years ago and we still miss you, Thuy. I didn't find out until a year later while I was surfing the web and I found out that Thuy had passed. You know I saw an interview that Walter Emanuel Jones did with someone around 2009 at an Expo. When Walter was asked about an MMPR reunion, he said he'd love to do it but obviously it won't be the same without Thuy :(

I just went to wikipedia to see what happened to the original Power Rangers (I grew up watching them, after all) and just found out about her. I am shocked and very saddened to hear this. She was a very beautiful woman and a talented one at that. We actually named our cat after her character, Trini.

Funny story when I was a huge huge fan of the power rangers as a child I went to the power rangers live show at the San Diego sports arena on Dec.6th 1994 not one of the original power rangers showed there was so many broken hearts angry parents and children crying. Well now I know were Trang was. Am not mad just a story. She was so beautiful, and had such a kind heart you can see it in this video. We all miss you.

She's such a sweetheart. To go through the things she and her family had to go through to get from Vietnam then Japan then America and to pass away so tragically. It's sad that people are just learning about Thuy's passing. I heard about it exactly a year after she died. So that was 2002. I just kept reading things online, silly things like ABC won't rerun MMPR cause Thuy Trang was dead. It rang a bell so I Googled Thuy Trang and was very surprised. Thuy was a part of my childhood. I think the first episode I saw was actually when they had Rocky, Adam, and Aisha in it. I then learned Trini came first. She died the same year as my dad :(.
